Bai Meiyue turned to look behind her upon hearing the loud bang. Lu Yin took advantage of her momentary distraction and tried to kick her in the stomach.
Of course, Bai Meiyue noticed her actions and immediately let go of the woman. The second Lu Yin landed on the floor, she pushed Bai Meiyue away and ran away. She didn't dare to linger for even a second longer.
Bai Meiyue watched the woman running and sneered. She wondered why Lu Yin even bothered when she had this little courage. She, however, turned on her feet and walked towards the sound of the noise instead of chasing Lu Yin. The faint scent of blood was very subtle but Bai Meiyue noticed it right away. There was also the scent of candies, which made Bai Meiyue frown.
She took out a dagger from her space pocket and clutched it tightly in her hands.
