With her appearance back to normal, Bai Meiyue didn't stop nor did she look back. As she ran, she hunted down other zombies who were attacking others. She maximised the use of her speed and strength and chopped down the zombies with her dagger. Unlike others, she did not waste her time fighting with these zombies; she cut down their heads.
As long as their heads exploded, the rest of the being would die without any fight. Because the number of zombies at the beginning of the apocalypse was still a bit less, Bai Meiyue was done dealing with them in a matter of a few minutes.
Bai Meiyue looked down at her clothes that were covered in zombie blood and frowned in disgust. She felt nauseous when she smelt the rotten smell but somehow managed to calm herself down. She was about to turn around and leave when a man who was almost bitten by the zombie rushed out of his hiding spot and shouted,
"Bai Meiyue! You can't leave; you need to protect me."
