Gallade, Gardevoir, and other Pokémon defeated numerous Electric Pokémon on the thundering island before leaving directly.

Before departing, Dragonite approached Zeraora to bid farewell. It informed Zeraora of its plans to retire and explained it wouldn't return in the future. However, Dragonite assured Zeraora it could come find it by sensing its presence if it wished to play.

Zeraora was reluctant to see Dragonite go but remained silent. Every Pokémon has its own aspirations, and if retirement was Dragonite's goal, Zeraora silently supported the decision. It resolved to visit Dragonite when the opportunity arose.

Gallade and Gardevoir also greeted Zeraora, inviting it to visit the breeding house someday. However, Zeraora maintained an air of pride and paid little attention to them, focusing more on Pikachu. Zeraora's occasional toothy grins made Pikachu uneasy. Yet, despite its intimidating demeanor, Zeraora bore no ill intentions—it merely wanted to take a playful nibble at the "electric mouse."

With their business concluded, Gallade began the return journey. This time, instead of riding on Pidgeot, Gallade opted for Dragonite, which was faster. As the fastest Flying Pokémon, Dragonite significantly shortened their travel time. Guided by Gallade, Dragonite headed towards Evan's breeding house.

By the time they arrived, it was afternoon. The day had flown by as Evan worked tirelessly on the power supply house. With Machamp's help, he completed the project and prepared for its first test run. While tidying up the area, a sudden gust marked the arrival of a large, powerful figure descending from the sky—Dragonite, with Gallade riding on its back.

Evan was stunned to see Dragonite and Gallade together. "Gallade?" he muttered in confusion. "What's going on? Why is Dragonite here?"

Before he could process the situation, the Poké Balls Gallade carried activated one by one, releasing Evan's other Pokémon. They all greeted Evan with cheerful cries, with Gardevoir using telepathy to communicate: "We're back~!"

'Pika pika!' cried Pikachu.

'Pidge!' chirped Pidgeot.

'Lura~!' yelped Lurantis.

Evan acknowledged them all but remained fixated on Dragonite, who stood staring back at him. Gardevoir broke the silence, smiling mischievously. "Master, this is a friend of my brother and me," it said telepathically. "We invited it here, and it has decided to stay with us. We helped you capture it."

Evan was speechless. His Pokémon had taken the liberty of securing a powerful Dragonite—a pseudo-legendary Pokémon—for him. Dragonite stepped forward, extending a claw in greeting. 'Woo~!' it hummed warmly. Evan instinctively shook its claw, feeling its firm yet gentle grip.

Dragonite's eyes crinkled into crescent moons of joy. 'Wooo~~!' it declared, 'You are my master from today.

As soon as Dragonite landed, it began asking the important questions: "Where do I live? When can I eat? Are there any delicious energy cubes in the evening? The ones Gardevoir gave me today were quite delicious."

Dragonite's demeanor resembled that of a boss entering a new factory, immediately demanding, "Where is my dormitory? What time are meals? Is the food any good?" Evan suspected that Dragonite had been thoroughly convinced—or perhaps tricked—by Gardevoir and the others, thinking it could come over just to eat and relax. It seemed the promise of good food was too tempting to resist.

Listening to Dragonite's questions, Evan was simultaneously amused and exasperated. He held back laughter as he responded, "You can live wherever you like. As for eating, you can eat whenever you want. Anyway, I'm glad you came." Despite the situation, Evan couldn't deny his luck. Picking up a mid-level champion Dragonite for free was an incredible stroke of fortune.

Dragonite, seemingly satisfied with the answers, continued wandering around the breeding house, flapping its wings lazily. It truly acted like a retired Pokémon ready to settle into a life of leisure. Evan watched the scene unfold and muttered to himself, "This Dragonite is very strong—easily champion-level. How do Gardevoir and Gallade know so many powerful wild Pokémon? Maybe I should ask them to call over every strong Pokémon they know and form a group…"

The idea was both amusing and tempting. Champion-level Pokémon could produce powerful offspring, which would naturally be incredibly valuable. Evan mused over the thought of finding a mate for this male Dragonite, but quickly dismissed it, knowing that Eli's Dragonite, along with all of his other dragons, were also male. Eli preferred male Pokémon, believing them to be stronger and better for battles. If Dragonite wanted a partner, they would have to search elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Dragonite tilted its head and looked at Evan, sensing he was lost in thought. After a moment, Dragonite decided it didn't care and began exploring the breeding house with a curious but relaxed attitude. Evan quickly called out to Charizard, "Charizard, go help Dragonite get familiar with the place and explain how things work around here."

Charizard gave an acknowledging grunt and followed Dragonite, ready to play tour guide for the new arrival. Once they left, Evan's gaze shifted to Gardevoir and Gallade. He was tempted to question them about how they convinced Dragonite to come, but he decided against it. Why question his luck? Having a mid-level champion Dragonite join the team was enough to keep him satisfied.

Instead, Evan asked the next most important question: "Did you manage to capture the Pokémon I asked for?"

Hearing this, Gardevoir and Gallade nodded. Gallade stepped forward, pulled out a space bag, and handed it to Evan with a satisfied expression.
