"I think we should get you into a less traumatic room," Nadia said as Angel handed the baby to her.
"Yeah, I think so too. But I won't necessarily call it a traumatic room. I birthed my Angel here," she said, and smiled.
"Do you think you can stand? Should I help?"
"No, just hold on to Isabella. I think I can stand on my own."
She was trying to rise up, when a knock sounded on the door.
"It's Ivar and Xander," Ivar said.
"Can they come in?" Nadia asked Angel.
"Sure." She shrugged.
"Come in!" Nadia called at the top of her voice.
The door opened, and Xander walked in with Ivar right behind him.
Nadia chuckled when she saw they were all kitted appropriately to meet the newborn.
"The nurses insisted we sanitize, and put on all of this before coming in," Xander explained.
"I thought as much. Want to see the baby?" Nadia asked.
"Of course!" They said at the same time, and went to stand beside her.
"Wow, she's so small. I could fit her in one of my palms," Xander said.
