The door into Nadia's room opened, and the princess walked in.
Her eyes went straight to where Angel would usually sit when she was sewing. But when she didn't see her there, she thought to check in her room.
She had barely taken a step forward, when from the corner of her eyes, she spotted her.
"Oh," she muttered, and drew closer to the bed.
"Sorry, she's asleep," Nadia said, whilst stroking Angel's hair on her head that lay on her lap.
The princess frown deepened. She didn't exactly find it joyous talking to Nadia.
In fact, she considered it the biggest chore there possibly was.
Unfortunately, she had to do it because it was the only way to get an answer.
"Did you want something from her?" Nadia asked.
She didn't answer immediately, but just continued to stare at how at peace Angel looked.
When it became clear that her burning stare wouldn't wake her up, she lifted her head.
