"Heyu? Is that really you?"
Shen Heyu turned around and saw Lu Yi standing not far away, his eyes sparkling as he looked at her with a big smile on his face, as if running into her here was a pleasant surprise.
"Why are you also here?" Lu Yi asked, glancing left and right. Not seeing Pei Yansi by her side, he curiously asked, "Are you alone?"
Shen Heyu shook her head, about to speak when she noticed Pei Yansi had followed them out.
Pei Yansi's cold voice came from behind Lu Yi, "If she was alone, what would you want to do?"
He was always the most jealous and possessive, Shen Heyu knew very well that he was about to lose it again.
Shen Heyu quickly walked forward, pulled him over, and began placating in a gentle voice, "I just bumped into him here and greeted him, that's all."
She really couldn't afford any misunderstandings now, least of all involving Lu Yi and others—she didn't want them to suffer any bit of suppression from Pei Yansi because of her.
