Zheng Cuicui arrived earlier than others, and went straight into the kitchen to help out. Han Shouxin was busy at the Military Department, and they had only managed to rush over in the middle of the meal.
"What's up, was there another issue at the Military Department?" Shen Chi poured him a bowl of wine.
"Nothing but trifles," Han Shouxin casually replied, then turned to face the three elders at the table who he had not officially met before, and bowed respectfully, "As Chi's eldest brother, I want to thank you for all the years of care you have given him. This kindness, our Han Family will never forget for the rest of our lives."
The three elders once again felt at a loss for words, but Han Shouxin's attitude quickly relaxed as he said to them, "Grandpa Shen, Grandma Luo, and Uncle Shen, don't feel uncomfortable. This is just a one-time formality. We will be seeing each other often from now on, and saying too much will just make it awkward."
