Kiera Olsen's pupils suddenly contracted, "What happened?"
"Mr. Olsen is poisoned!"
The butler's voice made Kiera's heart leap.

Lewis then comforted her, "Your uncle will be fine!"
Kiera tightened her jaw, "I know, but after all, he is older now…"
Kiera had complex feelings about Uncle Olsen.
Since childhood, she had craved her father's love but never received even a bit in return, which led her to eventually close off her longing for a father's affection.
