"Well, that's fine, I suppose," Qu Shanling said, still unaware that in Mu Hanyan's eyes, his status had been promoted from an old god-man to a treasured figure of amusement. After some thought and slight disappointment, he added, "I am actually worried about succumbing to temptation, aiming too high, and bringing hardship upon myself. Mu Hanyan's decision may not be a bad thing for me after all."
Seeing that Qu Shanling had rested enough, Mu Hanyan walked towards the door, with Qu Shanling obediently following behind.
"By the way, what's your Master's name, and what's his background?" Mu Hanyan asked with curiosity.
"I also don't know my Master's name. I was an orphan, and he adopted me when I was one year old. I've never heard him mention his own name or background," Qu Shanling answered. When mentioning his Master, there was a hint of melancholy, but mostly it was respect.
