"Please wait a few seconds, Lexie." Without wasting any more time, Ren used the Void Steps skill and disappeared from the battlefield.
Three seconds later, his other clone appeared and treated Lexie with the Angelic Harmony magic.
"What happened to her?" Ren asked while wearing a worried face.
Instead of answering his question, the healing mage asked, "Are you a different clone?"
"Yes." Ren answered, "The previous clone melted into water because his mana was depleted. He only told me to come and save Lexie immediately."
The real Ren created five ice clones before sleeping because he would be in danger if no one protected him, so the previous clone didn't wake him up because it would disturb his recovery speed.
