Ethan's jaw tightened as he approached the door.
The knocking had already irritated him, and seeing Vivian standing there only made it worse. His eyes filled with anger.
Charlotte, still shocked with Vivian's presence, stopped behind him, hugging her arms over her nightwear.
The moment Vivian's gaze landed on her, her lips curled in distaste.
"Well, well," Vivian drawled, stepping inside without invitation, her expensive perfume filling the room.
"I see you're not wasting any time, Ethan." Her eyes swept over Charlotte, staring on her nightwear before looking back at Ethan with disappointment.
"And here I was, thinking you'd be devastated over Ryan."
"What the hell are you doing here, Vivian?" Ethan's patience was already razor-thin. His voice was cold as he shut the door behind her.
She placed a hand on her hip, flipping her long hair over her shoulder.
"I heard about Ryan, of course. Thought you might need some real company."
