Everyone in the living room rushed to him.
"Are you okay?! What the f**k happened?" Denji asked, his voice sharp with panic as his eyes darted to the window.
Isamu raised his hand, shaking his head, his breath uneven. "Stay there, there's a shooter outside."
"What?!"
They all halted at the door, their movements stiff and tense, instinctively keeping their heads low.
'The shooter did save my life, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be careful,' Isamu thought, his mind racing.
He peaked through the window with caution, seeing no signs of where the shooter could be. He quickly slid to the door and joined up with the others as he gestured, "Let's go into the living room and close the curtains."
They nodded in unison, moving swiftly but silently, their steps deliberate as if the air itself carried unseen danger. Once inside, they sealed the room, heavy curtains cutting off any view of the outside world.
