Aoki's gaze then turned to the distance, where eight Jonin ninjas were still holding their ground against more than two hundred women. Although most of the women were injured—some seriously while others only lightly—they continued to attack relentlessly.
However, Aoki could see that the eight Jonin were beginning to show signs of fatigue. They were still standing, but their movements had slowed. Even though they had already been drained after fighting against Aoki, their abilities as Jonin allowed them to continue to withstand the onslaught of hundreds of Genin and a few Chunin.
Calmly, Aoki stood up. His hand slowly reached for his sword. Aoki took a deep breath, focusing all his energy and thoughts.
"Kasumi no Kokyū: Ni no Kata: Chigiri! (Mist Breathing: Second Form: Blood Mist)," Aoki murmured firmly.
In an instant, Aoki's body vanished amidst the fog that suddenly enveloped the battlefield. The mist was so thick that it obscured the vision of anyone present. Only the faint sounds of footsteps and the whistling of swords could be heard.
