Captain Hunter glared at the tiled surface of the shower as he allowed the hot water to run down his back and soothe his sleep deprived body.
He began to count the tiles breathing in and out in a deep steadying rhythm as he focused on the numbers. He had found that this was one of the only ways to control the persistent bouts of anger that flared up inside of his mind as he counted and followed the rise and fall of his chest.
