When DC Amara Hunter opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar environment. She could still smell the scent of the forest but her surroundings had changed drastically. She appeared to be on a small bed fashioned from oak and the bare wooden interior of the room led her to suspect she was now inside of the log cabin.
Sitting up groggily, Amara noticed that her already perfect vision had increased to a startling level of clarity, she could see the dust motes hanging in the air and each individual grain of wood in the opposite wall.
"Oh. You're up? That took a while." Amara whipped her head to the side at the sound of that soothing melodic voice and spotted the tall, pale stranger with ebony hair lounging relaxedly in a small wooden chair, his long legs crossed in front of him as he regarded her with a crooked grin.
