"Grandfather Yuancheng, you don't understand—I simply can't swallow this humiliation!" Yu Tianheng clenched his fists tightly, speaking with fury.
"That Ye Tian surely knows it was a member of our Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan who tried to assassinate him, yet he dares to annihilate them all!"
"This shows that, in his eyes, our Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan is worth nothing!"
Before him stood a middle-aged man with a handlebar mustache, who was actually his grandfather's fourth younger brother.
He was also the fourth elder of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Yu Yuancheng, a Rank 95 Titled Douluo, possessing cultivation equal to his grandfather's.
However, to conceal the clan's strength, Yu Yuancheng rarely showed himself in public.
This time, Yu Tianheng had gone all out, sending a family letter to summon his fourth granduncle in order to resolve everything in one fell swoop.
He was determined to capture Ye Tian and offer closure to the spirits of his family members in heaven.
Hearing this, Yu Yuancheng nodded solemnly.
"I agree with you. Ye Tian is indeed too arrogant."
"Even the Spirit Hall has to show our Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan some respect when they encounter us."
"And yet this Ye Tian, a mere frog in the well of Donghai City, thinks he's something special and dares to oppose us!"
"If we don't teach him a lesson, the world will think the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan has declined to the point where anyone can trample on us."
He turned to Yu Tianheng. "How are the preparations for intelligence gathering?"
Yu Tianheng smirked confidently. "According to reliable sources, Ye Tian is currently at his farm hosting a wedding. There's no way he won't be present."
Upon hearing this, Yu Yuancheng burst into hearty laughter. "It seems we've prepared a great gift for Ye Tian."
Then, his expression turned stern as he swept his gaze across the core clan soul masters he had brought, his voice booming:
"Today, our sole objective is to turn Ye Tian's wedding day into the day of his death!"
"The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan will prevail!"
A chorus of enthusiastic responses echoed.
Seeing the high morale, Yu Yuancheng nodded in satisfaction and waved his hand.
"Move out!"
At the Farm
The Butterfly Valley was bustling with activity.
The overwhelming number of guests created such noise that the butterflies in the valley had all disappeared, retreating to more secluded areas.
Chen Jian, who was officiating the wedding, felt a bit embarrassed upon seeing this.
"No matter how well you plan, something always slips through the cracks," he thought.
He remembered how Miss Nana had once dreamed of wearing a wedding gown, standing on a high platform, and dancing with butterflies.
But now, even a shadow of a butterfly was nowhere to be seen.
"Butterflies aren't human. No matter how capable I am, I can't command them," Chen Jian muttered, resigning himself to apologizing later.
"Old Chen, you don't look so well," came Ye Tian's lighthearted voice.
Dressed in a new, elegant silk outfit with a bright red sash on his chest, Ye Tian approached with a smile. He had just finished greeting the heads of various workshops and finally had some free time to check on Chen Jian's preparations.
In just two hours, the auspicious midday hour would arrive, marking the start of his wedding ceremony.
Chen Jian's face showed regret as he gestured upwards. "Young Master, there are too many people. The butterflies were scared away."
Hearing this, Ye Tian looked up in surprise.
"Indeed, there's not a single butterfly in sight."
The primary reason he had chosen this location for the wedding was the spectacular scene of millions of butterflies dancing in the air.
The absence of butterflies now was a significant regret for the wedding.
"I'll handle this," Ye Tian said, his gaze drifting into the distance as he recalled someone.
"You can do that, Young Master?" Chen Jian asked, astonished.
Ye Tian raised a hand slightly. "It's not that I can summon butterflies, but someone else can."
"Ah, I see," Chen Jian nodded in sudden understanding, curious about this person Ye Tian referred to.
Noticing Chen Jian's curiosity, Ye Tian smiled. "Didn't I bring two people back yesterday? One of them, the Sea Witch, has a martial soul that can create illusions. I believe it can work on butterflies as well."
"Let's give it a try."
A glimmer of hope appeared in Chen Jian's cloudy eyes. If this worked, Ye Tian's wedding would no longer have any regrets, and his own oversight could be remedied.
Ye Tian nodded lightly and began searching for the Sea Witch amidst the crowd.
Upon entering Butterfly Valley, the two women had been affixing blessings to a screen.
But the valley was now so crowded with guests that finding them was challenging.
Fortunately, the distinctive face of Little White Shark Xiao Bai made the task easier.
It didn't take long for Ye Tian to spot the two women near a long table laden with refreshments.
The Sea Witch was pretending to chat while her hands worked tirelessly, while Xiao Bai, possibly visiting the mainland for the first time, was eating rapidly, her cheeks stuffed with pastries.
Before Ye Tian even reached them, the Sea Witch's sharp gaze cut through the crowd and landed on him, impressing him with her keen senses.
"My little groom, what brings you to us?" the Sea Witch asked playfully, adjusting her glasses.
Xiao Bai froze at her words, immediately halting her eating. She quickly turned her face away, hoping Ye Tian wouldn't notice her sneaking food.
But Ye Tian ignored this, waving at the Sea Witch.
"Feel free to eat, but don't talk nonsense. I'm not your little groom."
"Heh, such a stickler for words, little brother," the Sea Witch teased, picking up a snowflake cake and eating it nonchalantly.
"I need your help," Ye Tian explained the situation briefly.
After listening, the Sea Witch smirked. "So you come to me only when you need something. I've barely been here a day, and you're already putting me to work."
"But since your snowflake cakes are so good, I'll reluctantly help you out."
"By the way, how did you know I can create illusions?"
"I guessed," Ye Tian replied bluntly.
"Also, those snowflake cakes aren't mine."
He corrected her with righteous indignation. Talking to the Sea Witch always gave him a peculiar feeling.
"Xiao Bai, stop eating. Let's help Ye Tian with his task," the Sea Witch said, dragging Xiao Bai toward the deeper parts of the valley where the butterflies rested.
"Huh? Ah?" Xiao Bai was startled, embarrassed to have her sneaking exposed.
Her beautiful eyes glanced at Ye Tian, her face flushing deeply with shame.
Seeing Xiao Bai's blushing face, Ye Tian chuckled lightly.
Indeed, this White Shark Queen, who had lived in the deep sea for so long, was as thin-skinned as a sheet of paper.
"Interesting. She might be a breakthrough point for dealing with Sea God Island," Ye Tian mused, meeting Xiao Bai's gaze with a meaningful smile, which only made her blush even more.
