Chapter 115 - How Little She Knew Pt. 5

 The funny thing was that Jordan didn't remember when exactly Mina had told him about the violin competition. He couldn't even remember when she had talked or when she had stopped talking entirely. But ever since then, his relationship with his family had changed. It was as if he did not have a wife, and his child was no longer his little girl.

Jordan recalled how Orion would usually jump to give him a big hug, kiss his cheeks, and tell him about everything she did that day—the drawings she made, the friends she loved, and the animals she saw. It was a big part of his day when he came back from work. But all of that just stopped, and it was as if he didn't exist at all.

When he asked Mina about it—whenever he dared—she would answer as if he were a slug under her shoe. Just annoyed, aggravated that he didn't know. And that was on her best days. On her worst, Mina made sure Jordan knew how much she regretted marrying him.
