"Sensei, have you had breakfast yet?"
Shinho sat on the couch, his arms wrapped snugly around Tsunade.
It felt like hugging a plush cushion, soft and comfortable.
"I did, Shizune made it for me."
Tsunade leaned against him, her body relaxed in his embrace.
Her shapely, toned legs were crossed elegantly, her pale, jade-like feet slightly raised. In the sunlight, her toenails, painted a striking red, gleamed like rubies.
"Have you?" she asked with a smile.
"No," Shinho replied, his gaze lingering briefly before he turned back to her.
She wore a loose kimono-style robe, the neckline casually open, revealing soft, fair skin that curved and dipped into a shadowy valley.
"Perfect timing. I'll cook for you," Tsunade suddenly announced, planting a quick kiss on his lips before heading toward the kitchen.
Shinho felt a sudden lightness in his lap as her curvaceous figure left his embrace. Watching her mature and alluring silhouette, he couldn't help but lick his lips.
Wait.
Shinho's thoughts screeched to a halt.
Tsunade? Cooking?
Would it even be edible?
His lips twitched slightly, but he resigned himself to the situation. At this point, he'd have to eat it no matter what. Besides, how bad could breakfast be?
Relaxing against the couch, Shinholooked quite lazy. Normally, he'd be heading to the Hokage's office for work by now, but with Shizune around, he had no reason to rush.
She likely thought he was still out on a mission at the Fire Temple anyway.
Today, he could take it easy and spend time with Tsunade.
As Shinho mused, he considered going out shopping.
Tsunade's incredible figure was wasted on her usual sleeveless top and dark pants. Although she had worn a proper qipao before, it was more for formal occasions.
She could try being bolder.
Lost in thought, Shinho didn't notice how much time had passed until he instinctively looked up.
Tsunade walked toward him, carrying a warm bowl of ramen with a warm smile, her graceful, bare feet making soft tapping sounds on the floor as she walked.
Shinho felt a momentary daze. Is this what life is supposed to feel like?
"Here, eat up."
Tsunade stopped in front of him, holding out the bowl.
"Thank you, Sensei," Shinho said, snapping back to reality and smiling as he accepted the meal.
He picked up the chopsticks, twirling some noodles, and took a bite.
"It's pretty good," he said in genuine appreciation, "as expected of Sensei."
"Of course," Tsunade replied smugly. "It's just ramen."
"What's your plan for the day, Sensei?" Shinho asked casually.
"I have nothing planned," Tsunade said, her voice tinged with a trace of laziness, "Maybe I'll visit the casino if I'm in the mood."
"Wouldn't that ruin your mood instead?" Shinho asked, raising an eyebrow.
"What are you trying to say?" Tsunade huffed, giving him a light kick.
"Careful, Sensei, you'll knock the bowl over."
"Let it spill, for all I care," Tsunade retorted, rolling her eyes.
"How about I accompany you today?" Shinho suggested with a slight cough.
"Aren't you supposed to be at work?" Tsunade tilted her head, eyeing him curiously.
"Skipping one day won't hurt," Shinho replied nonchalantly, "Besides, Shizune's got things under control."
"You've really got it easy," Tsunade said with a smirk, "Your poor sister Shizune works late every day."
"Well," Shinho slurped his ramen, "it's because the village is undergoing renovations."
"Renovations?" Tsunade recalled the plan she had seen in the Hokage's office, "How far along is it?"
"Hard to say," Shinho said, pausing thoughtfully, "Have you seen the trains and airships yet?"
"I've heard people talking about them at the casino," Tsunade said with interest, "Let's try them out later."
"Of course," Shinho said, sipping the broth. "How about grilled meat for lunch?"
There was a street lined with clothing stores on the way to the barbecue place.
Perfect opportunity.
"Sounds good," Tsunade agreed without hesitation. The casino could wait; she hadn't gone out with this brat in ages.
"What about the Akatsuki? Any news?" Tsunade asked, recalling his previous skirmishes with them.
"They've suffered heavy losses," Shinho said casually, "Two more members died this morning."
"Impressive," Tsunade said, her gaze lingering on his face. This brat was getting stronger by the day. As his teacher, she had long been left in the dust.
"Soon enough, their leader might come over to pay us a visit," Shinho said with a smile.
He was already imagining Konan as his assistant Hokage. Adding Samui to the mix later would make things perfect.
"As long as you've got it under control," seeing as how calm shinho was, she felt reassured.
After all, Shinho's record spoke for itself. When Itachi first sent back intel on the Akatsuki, she had been deeply concerned.
Their members were elite, each a master of unique skills. Yet now, more than half of them were dead.
"I'll go get changed," Tsunade said as Shinho finished the last of his ramen.
"I'll handle the dishes," he said, carrying the bowl and chopsticks to the kitchen.
When he returned to the living room, Tsunade was waiting by the door, bending over to slip on a pair of high-heeled sandals.
Raising her head, she caught Shinho staring at her shamelessly.
Her lips curved into a sly smile. She was pleased to see her charm had not faded.
Tsunade stepped forward, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Now, kiss me," she said softly, her breath warm against his skin.
Shinho leaned down and captured her red lips on his own. Her grip tightened around his neck, and her robe shifted, its fabric losing all semblance of formality.
When they finally pulled apart, Tsunade licked her lips.
"Tonight," she whispered, her cheeks faintly flushed.
Shinho, looking at her slightly reddened face, was already plotting how to misbehave as her rebellious student later.
"Let's go," she said, glancing at his hand on her waist.
Reluctantly, Shinho let her go.
"It's a beautiful day," Tsunade said, stepping into the sunlight and stretching.
Shinho swallowed hard at the sight of her figure. A mature woman like her was a walking arsenal of nuclear warheads.
"What are you waiting for?" Tsunade asked, turning to him.
"Coming," Shinho said, locking the door and hurrying after her.
"Let's start with the transportation hub," Tsunade suggested after a brief pause.
"Whatever you say," Shinho replied, moving to hold her hand, only for her to dodge him.
"You want people to see us?" Tsunade glared at him.
"Yes," Shinho said honestly.
"…"
Tsunade's heart trembled slightly as she continued walking forward in silence.
"Sensei, it's this way," Shinho reminded her.
Tsunade turned, her expression mildly annoyed as she stomped lightly on his foot.
She took a few more steps and called back, "are you going to stay there forever?"
Shinho caught up to her, walking side by side as they exited the house. Along the way, villagers and shinobi greeted them with smiles and respectful nods.
The sight of the former Hokage and the current Hokage walking together was impossible to ignore.
"Being this famous has its downsides," Shinho said dryly.
Tsunade chuckled at his comment. She had noticed the change in his reputation. Everyone—villagers and shinobi alike—now treated him with immense respect and admiration.
Without realizing it, Shinho had grown into an exceptional Hokage. Tsunade felt a wave of pride but also a sense of relief. Another Hokage connected to the Senju lineage, albeit indirectly, had risen.
Although Shinho wasn't a member of the Senju clan by blood, he was effectively part of the family—her husband in all but name. The thought caused her to pause momentarily.
It was all his fault. Every night, he kept talking about holding a grand wedding, planting these ideas in her head.
"We're here, the transport hub," Shinho said, snapping her out of her thoughts as he looked toward the distant train.
"Land of fire Capital?" Tsunade asked, noticing the text on the train.
"That's the final stop for this train," Shinho explained.
"Hokage-sama?!"
A young man descended from the train, his voice filled with surprise. Shinho immediately recognized him: Hyūga Tokuma, one of Hinata's childhood escorts during her outings.
Shinho owed him some thanks. Hinata would always wander off and had gotten lost several times, and it was Tokuma who always brought her back. These days, Tokuma had left his escorting duties behind and joined the Konoha Jewelry Company.
"How's Konoha Jewelry doing in the capital?" Shinho asked.
"Exceptionally well!" Tokuma replied enthusiastically, "The first batch of jewelry sold out in less than a day."
Initially, many in the Hyūga clan had scoffed at the idea of their members crafting jewelry, considering it beneath their station. But that sentiment had changed completely.
The profits they made were that staggering.
He could ear far more than an elite jōnin could earn, even after completing a lifetime of S-rank missions.
It was lucrative and far less dangerous dangerous work, making it the obvious choice for most.
Who wanted to fight and kill when they can live comfortably without doing so?
"Keep up the good work," Shinho said with a dismissive wave. Tokuma bowed and hurried off.
The success of Konoha Jewelry had been well within Shinho's expectations. With the Fire Daimyō personally endorsing and wearing the products, no one dared to turn them down. The nobles' enthusiasm quickly trickled down to the common folk, cementing the brand's reputation.
Shinho turned to find Tsunade staring at him intently. "What's wrong, Sensei?"
"Didn't the Daimyō try to stop you?" Tsunade asked, voicing her concern.
"Oh, that? Easy. I just gave him a cut of the profits," Shinho replied casually.
Tsunade narrowed her eyes but chose to drop the matter. "Let's go try the airship."
Her tone carried a trace of suspicion.
Knowing Shinho, nothing was ever as simple as it seemed. He was like a mix of all three Sannin.
Still, his plans always benefited Konoha in the end.
"Follow me," Shinho said, leading the way into the transport hub.
Tsunade glanced around, taking in her surroundings with curiosity. The station, recently renovated, had a modern and polished look.
"Hokage-sama!" A young ninja, clad in a long robe and wearing dark sunglasses, approached them. He was from the Aburame clan.
"Is there an available airship?" Shinho asked.
"Yes, the No. 9 airship is free," the young ninja quickly replied.
The two made their way to the airship, which had two sections: the cockpit and the passenger cabin. Designed for nobles and wealthy merchants, the interior was lavish, almost like a mobile izakaya.
"This is impressive," Tsunade said as she stood by the window, gazing down at Konoha from above. It was her first time seeing the village from such a vantage point.
Shinho stepped behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, feeling her warm, curvaceous form through her clothes.
"Don't you dare try anything!" Tsunade tensed, giving him a warning glance.
"What do you mean by 'try anything'?" Shinho raised an eyebrow. Her words had sparked an idea in his mind.
In the sky?
But the pilot was next door. Maybe someday he'd teach Ichikishima-hime how to fly an airship.
"Stop it!" Tsunade lightly jabbed his side. "Don't distract me while I'm enjoying the view!"
"I'm always a good student," Shinho said with a grin, leaning in close until his cheek brushed hers, "Let's enjoy the view together."
The warmth from his body made Tsunade feel a little weak, but to her surprise, Shinho didn't try anything funny. She exhaled softly, savoring the rare moment of peace.
...
[Achievement Unlocked: "If You Jump, I'll Jump."
Reward: Snake Diagram Gu.]
[Snake Diagram Gu: This Gu allows the user to store and manage large numbers of snakes within it. The Gu can be integrated into the Gu Master's skin, serving as a reservoir for the snakes, which can be summoned and controlled as needed.]
..
Snake Diagram Gu? Shinho blinked, reading the text that appeared in his vision.
Was this a titanic reference? But this was a fucking airship.
The reward was interesting though. a Rank Five Gu capable of storing a swarm of snakes and integrating into the skin as tattoos. Each snake represented a single tattoo.
This could be useful. Traveling with Ichikishima-hime would become far more convenient, and the ability to use it in battle for sneak attacks was an added bonus.
Who would suspect tattoos to be living creatures?
Still, he wouldn't go overboard with the tattoos. He wasn't a slave-path Gu Master, after all. Having two more snake girls would be enough for him.
Snapping back to reality, Shinho pulled out a chilled bottle of orange soda and offered it to Tsunade.
When she didn't immediately notice, he placed the bottle strategically between a certain "valley."
It was a react achievable to only those with extraordinary talents.
"Brat!" Tsunade's voice carried mild exasperation.
She snatched the soda, opened it, and held it up to his lips.
"Thanks, Sensei," Shinho said, taking a sip with a slightly regretful expression.
Tsunade shook her head in exasperation. What's this kid thinking all the time? She drank most of the soda herself, letting out a satisfied sigh.
Shinho's eyes twitched as her movements created a mesmerizing ripple in his field of vision. The graceful, white curve rose and fell.
"What's the destination for this airship?" Tsunade asked, holding the soda bottle casually.
"It doesn't have one," Shinho replied, "Where do you want to go, Sensei?"
"Let's just circle Konoha," Tsunade said, her gaze lingering on the village below.
She felt a faint sense of detachment, uncertain about what the future held for Konoha.
But one thing was clear. it would only get better.
Her thoughts drifted to Jiraiya's so-called prophecy. Looking at Shinho now, he seemed like the Child of Prophecy.
With his unparalleled strength and ideas, he embodied what Jiraiya had described.
Yet, according to the Great Toad Sage's vision, the Child of Prophecy was supposed to be Jiraiya's student.
Tsunade chuckled softly to herself. My student feels more like the Child of Prophecy than anyone.
"What's so funny, Sensei?" Shinho asked, turning to look at her.
Her soft blonde hair framed her face, and the sunlight accentuated her bright smile.
"Just thinking of something happy," Tsunade replied, brushing her golden hair behind her ear. "Want a kiss?"
Shinho's eyes widened. Tsunade was unusually forward today. While she was often bold at night, she rarely showed this side of herself during the day.
