Johan walked hastily, fuming with annoyance and anger. His eyebrows were folded into a deep crease and his jaws were clenched tightly.

The entrance door of Jack's Quickstop chimed as he entered, and he immediately shouted, "Nicholas! What do you think—"
Johan saw the individual standing at the counter and instantly fell silent.
"Can I help you?" the Indian man asked, looking a bit annoyed at the way Johan entered the store.
"Where is Nicholas?" Johan, in his school uniform, asked in a subdued tone.
"He is back on the night shift. Is there an issue?" the man behind the counter asked.
Johan thought for a second and nodded.
"Yes. There's a issue. I've seen you here before. I'm Johan. Are you the manager of this store?" he asked, taking a few strides closer to the counter.
The man nodded and a slight curl formed on Johan's lips.
