Today is the last day before we arrive at our destination and begin the gathering. Thank god for that, This journey has been nothing but pain for the last week. Anakin while nice just does his own thing with him mostly being in the cargo bay messing around with one robot or another. While the both Ahsoka and Barris have done nothing but watch tv even when I have offered them alternatives. I currently am laying in bed happy that today is the day we arrive on illum as I have run out of books to read, and with both Asoka and Barris hogging the tv there is nothing good to watch.
I stand and get dressed before walking out of the room to the main living area where just Anakin sits at the kitchen table eating a breakfast meal. His head perks up as he hears my foot steps behind him. His head quickly turns while he still has a piece of bacon half hanging out of his mouth. "Morning Kira how did you sleep?"
"Good I think, luckily I locked my door or else one of the girls would have come in after I went to bed or maybe both." I groan as I remember the first night on the ship when I left the door unlocked. Honestly I slept well until I woke up to find both Barris and Ahsoka sleeping on top of me which was very annoying, especially when they rolled and hit me.
"Hahaha yeah I guessed that when I saw the other girls trying to get into your room when I finished fixing up Huyang." I perk up at this as I walk to the fridge and grab a blood bag having realized over the last week that it was human blood as it has that certain taste that you can just tell.
"What's wrong with Huyang, last I checked he was working perfectly fine?" I begin to suck on the blood bag as we talk really wishing I could get some other species blood as they give certain attributes depending on what I drink and I get a set upgrade. Like when I drank plo-koon's blood I am now able to breath his atmosphere, but ever since the council found this out they have not allowed me to drink anything other than human blood.
"Nah his leg was just acting up so he asked me to take a quick look. His leg just had a slight wire kink took me 20 min and he was as good as new." His bright smile was infectious as it contaminated me and I couldn't help but smile.
"Well done you always were the best with robotics. Also how long until we land?" My voice is patchy as I continue to drain the blood bag.
"When everyone is awake and has had breakfast." I nod at this as I turn toward the open door where both Ahsoka and Barris walk in looking like death. I smirk as I see them walking in already knowing that they stayed up late last night trying to break into my cabin. Their faces turn pink as they look at me before looking down embarrassed.
"Now why are you both so tired?" My mock question causes them to freeze as they grab some food from the fridge. I continue sucking on the blood bag and lean on the kitchen counter just watching them. A beep resounds from Anakin's data pad as he finishes his breakfast. The girls start moving again as if awakened from a sleep. My eyes move to Anakin as he looks at the pad and smiles.
"We are landing now so you two better finish breakfast or we will leave without you." He points at the two sleepy girls accusatorially. They look between me and Anakin before they start devouring their breakfast packs in an attempt to finish in time. I look at Anakin and try to hold back my laughter as we look at each other. I break as he tries to also hold back his laughter and we both start uncontrollably laughing. I finish my blood packet and put it in the bin as Anakin places his food in the bin. We walk to our rooms and get changed, before walking to the open ramp and waiting for the other two girls.
"So how long do you think it will be before they run out here in their winter clothes." Anakin can't even fully open his mouth when what the green and orange women run toward the ramp with their bags. I smirk and pick up my bag as I see their heavy breathing. "Come on lets go."
My body moves on its own with me already knowing the direction to go to get to the Kyber crystal cave. Anakin raises an eyebrow probably wondering how I know which way to go before following behind me with the other two girls. He walks up next to me standing taller than me and taps my shoulder bringing me out of my brain fog.
"How do you know the cave entrance is this way?" Anakin asks looking down at me as we walk through the frozen wasteland. I look up at him and consider for a moment before I answer.
"I can just feel the call of the force. I can just know where to go." Anakin smiles and nods as if understanding and knowing the same feeling as he had it when he went for his gathering. Our walk continues as the other two girls walks up next to us and begin talking as we walk.
After a very long walk we reach a massive ice door. I smile and look at the two girls looking up confused, then I smirk as I look Anakin who is also smirking at their confusion. I stand next to him as they try to figure out how we are supposed to get in. Then they turn their heads to us and sigh before finally asking.
"Okay how are we supposed to get in?" Ahsoka asks while looking annoyed. I smirk and chuckle as I look up at Anakin who is also smirk.
"together. Hold out your hand and reach into the force." Anakin says as I smirk as me and Anakin walk up next to them and raise our hands and call out to the force. The other two wait a moment before joining in and raising their hands and joining. Within moments I feel the force wrap around the door and begin to rise into the air. I smirk at the two girls who are very happy.
"Come on we have a Grandmaster to meet." Anakin's mouth falls open as I walk forward.
"How the hell do you know that from out here?" I smirk at him from the entrance.
"Same way I knew where this cave was I can sense his force signature. Same thing you can do." Anakin just shakes his head as we all begin walking in to find a small green pointy eared green Grandmaster sitting on a ice boulder. I smirk as I see him looking down at me.
"welcome younglings to your gathering. ready are you?"
