Elora strode into the dining room. Her husbands got up at the sight of her, and she waved at them to sit.
She pulled out a seat, and as soon as she sat, the maids rolled in the food; they carefully placed it on the table and left.
"Let's eat," Elora said as she uncovered the food. The mouthwatering aroma filled her senses, making her quicken her movements.
She scooped the soup with some chunks of meat into her mouth and hummed with a squint of her eyes.
Thorn watched her expression and became hungrier than usual. Picking up his utensil, he sliced the fish open, and a burst of golden sauce drilled from the body.
He took a bite and nodded in approval; the fish was skillfully prepared, retaining its firmness and the spicy flavour of its sauce.
Ian and Hunter sat to the side, speaking through telepathy.
[Will you follow me to the dungeon tomorrow?] Hunter asked while forking the lamb chops into his mouth.
