Sorry for the delay, kid. I started college and well, if you only saw my schedule, you'd feel sorry for me, although, well, all in all, it's not much [I study like a bitch, and still don't understand anything, but I have Faith]

Training a little wouldn't be anything compared to everything they had been through together. She was willing to do whatever it took to please Astra and, above all, to protect her mother.

With a determined look, Airi prepared to begin her training.

.....

Hours later, Junko stepped out of the kitchen with the finished dish, while Airi lay completely exhausted on the couch, panting after an intense training session.

Meanwhile, Astra was in the shower.

A little later, Astra came downstairs wrapped in a bathrobe, a towel around her hair.

The aroma of freshly prepared food reached her before she even entered the dining room.

— "Smells good. What did you make?" —she asked, suddenly appearing behind Junko, who was setting the table.

Junko let out a small yelp of surprise before turning to her, her face flushed.

— "Ma'am… I made tonkatsu with rice and a special family sauce. I hope you like it."

Astra inspected the food and nodded, clearly satisfied with what she saw.

— "It looks delicious, Junko. If it tastes as good as it looks, you'll be in charge of cooking from now on. Also of cleaning, but if it turns out to be too much, I'll help you."

Junko nodded, trying to keep her composure, though she avoided looking too much at Astra, who was still in her robe. However, her eyes inevitably wandered to Astra's chest.

Astra noticed her discomfort and, with a Frieren-style smile, commented:

— "Does it bother you that I'm like this? If it's a problem, I'm sorry, but I like being comfortable. Too much clothing feels uncomfortable to me, so get used to seeing my bare body."

Junko frantically waved her arms.

— "N-No, Lady Astra! That's not it. I was just… a little surprised. If you'll excuse me, I'll go get my daughter."

Without another word, Junko quickly retreated, clearly nervous. Astra let out a light chuckle and sat at the table, adjusting her tail as she waited for the others.

Minutes later, noticing they were taking too long, she began tapping her fingers impatiently.

— "Junko!" —she finally called.

Junko appeared immediately, looking worried.

— "Yes, ma'am? Is something wrong?"

Astra stared at her while continuing to tap her fingers.

— "Why haven't you come to eat? I'm waiting for you."

Junko's eyes widened in clear confusion.

— "I thought we would eat separately…"

Astra sighed, realizing the misunderstanding.

— "I see… You thought I didn't want to eat with you. Well, listen up, I want you and your daughter to eat with me. I don't care if you're working; when it's mealtime, you sit at the table. Understood?"

Junko straightened up quickly and bowed.

— "Yes, ma'am. I'm sorry for not understanding sooner."

— "Chu chu. Go get your daughter before the food gets cold."

Junko hurried off and returned minutes later with Airi, whose eyes sparkled at the sight of the food.

— "Thank you, Lady Astra. Thank you so much." —Airi said, bowing to Astra.

Astra simply smiled and told them to sit. Without another word, Airi sat to her right, and Junko sat beside her daughter.

Seeing that everyone was at the table, Astra clasped her hands together and waited for them to follow her lead.

— "Itadakimasu."

The three began to eat. Airi devoured her food enthusiastically, clearly hungry after training and years of not having enough to eat.

Junko, on the other hand, was discreetly trying to transfer part of her portion onto her daughter's plate.

Noticing this, Astra sighed.

— "There's enough for everyone, Junko. Eat as much as you want."

Junko timidly nodded and started eating more, her cheeks puffing up like a squirrel's as she tried to hide her embarrassment.

In her mind, she kept repeating: "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

As she watched the mother and daughter enjoy their meal, Astra let out a slight smile, resting her face on her hand.

For the first time in a long while, the house felt like a real home.

After they finished eating, Junko quickly took care of cleaning the table, while Astra started working on her computer.

Airi approached and stood behind her, watching curiously.

A few minutes passed before Astra spoke, addressing Airi as she stood up from her seat.

— "Go call your mother. We're going shopping."

Airi ran toward the kitchen while Astra took the opportunity to change out of her bathrobe into more casual clothing. Shortly after, Airi returned with her mother.

— "We're leaving. You both need new clothes and more food in this house."

Junko immediately nodded, nervously adjusting her hair. Airi, on the other hand, seemed excited as she followed Astra out of the house.

The sun was beginning to set, bathing the streets in an orange glow.

The trip was quiet until they boarded the bus. Once inside, Astra found herself surrounded by the usual commotion—mothers chatting, babies crying, children playing, and teenagers arguing about heroes. The noise was deafening.

Without hesitation, she gave up her seat to Junko and Airi, opting to stand. Then, with a simple adjustment of her quirk, she sealed her ears, completely blocking out the outside sound.

She sighed.

"Mental note: buy a vehicle. It makes no sense to have servants but no personal transportation."

When they finally got off the bus, Astra reversed the modification on her ears, letting the city's sounds gradually return. Though the noise persisted, it no longer felt as irritating.

In front of them stood a massive shopping mall, illuminated by the sunset's glow. Airi gazed at the place in awe, while Junko, somewhat uncomfortable, remained close to her. Astra, however, moved with complete ease in the environment.

— "First, clothes," —Astra declared with determination, leading them toward an upscale-looking store.

Junko stopped in her tracks upon seeing the prices in the display window.

— "L-Lady Astra, are you sure? This store looks… too expensive."

Astra turned her head and stared at her.

— "No excuses. If you're going to live under my roof, you at least need to dress properly. Besides, money isn't your concern—it's mine."

Junko swallowed hard and nodded, following her inside the store.

As soon as they stepped in, a store clerk hurried over, looking visibly excited upon recognizing Astra.

— "Welcome! How can we assist you today?"

Astra smiled calmly, though her mutant appearance seemed to make the clerk speak faster than usual.

— "I need clothes for them," —she said, gesturing toward Junko and Airi.

The clerk examined them carefully before nodding enthusiastically.

— "Of course! Please follow me. We have a wide selection for women and girls."

As Junko and Airi were guided to the fitting rooms, Astra lingered, browsing some nearby clothing racks. She ran her hand over a black leather jacket, considering whether to get something for herself, but ultimately decided her priority was making sure the other two were well-equipped.

After a while, Airi emerged from the fitting room wearing a simple but lovely dress. She twirled to show it off to Astra, her eyes shining with excitement.

— "What do you think, Lady Astra?"

Astra crossed her arms and nodded slowly.

— "It suits you. But try something more practical too. You won't always be able to wear dresses."

Junko, however, seemed more hesitant to step out. Astra noticed her hesitation behind the fitting room curtain.

— "Junko, come out. I won't judge you."

With a resigned sigh, Junko stepped out, wearing an elegant yet modest outfit. Her cheeks were red, and she avoided making direct eye contact with Astra.

— "Is this alright, Lady Astra?"

Astra observed her for a moment before nodding.

— "It looks good. But pick out more. I don't want you to have just one decent outfit. At least three sets, understood?"

Junko quickly nodded and returned to the fitting room.

Once they finished choosing, Astra paid the bill without flinching at the price. They left the store carrying several bags, Astra holding some with her tail.

As they walked, Astra stopped in front of a nearby clothing store. Unlike the others, this one seemed to sell very different types of attire. Intrigued, she decided to step inside.

Upon entering, they were greeted by a petite woman with short dark hair, large round glasses, and a peculiar outfit that looked like a mix between a dress and armor.

— "Oh, oh! My first customers!"

The woman jumped onto the counter, perching on it to be at eye level with Astra.

She examined Astra with curiosity, as if trying to recognize her, but quickly dismissed the thought and focused on the clothing instead. The displayed outfits ranged from superhero suits to villain attire and casual wear, but each piece had a distinct flair.

— "Do you like what you see, dear customers? Let me introduce myself: Edmila 'Edna' Moda. I specialize in creating super-resistant clothing."

Astra paid close attention, which made Edna smile before continuing.

— "I design durable clothing for everyday life. In a world where heroes and villains clash daily, it's not just heroes who need protective suits—civilians must be prepared too. My clothes are exactly that: super-resistant garments that protect civilians."

Astra nodded, appreciating the concept.

— "Sounds great, but tell me, why don't I see any capes in your designs?"

The moment she heard the question, Edna's expression changed completely. As if a forbidden topic had been touched, she straightened with determination and declared firmly:

— "No capes!"

Astra flinched slightly at her sudden reaction, but Edna wasn't finished.

— "Capes are dangerous. 'Lightning Bolt' died when his cape got caught in a tree while flying at full speed... he was decapitated. The supervillain 'Megma' tried to dodge a heat ray from Endeavor, but stepped on his own cape and tripped, ending up with his face completely burned. And let's not forget Japan's number one hero, All Might—he almost died during his time in the U.S. During his fight against 'Mister Muscle,' the villain used his cape to slam him into the ground. Luckily, the fabric tore, and All Might managed to escape, but the blows still destroyed entire city blocks..."

Astra remained silent for a few seconds before nodding.

— "Okay... capes are dangerous."

— "Exactly! Capes bad, capes bad!"

Edna regained her composure and returned behind the counter. She adjusted the lever on her chair to sit higher and resumed her salesperson demeanor.

— "Alright, dear customers, what would you like to buy?"

Astra glanced around, ignoring the hero and villain suits, focusing instead on casual clothing. She picked out several pieces for herself, Junko, and Airi.

While Edna did the calculations, Astra continued browsing. Just when she was about to stop, her eyes landed on an outfit that completely caught her attention.

It was a feminine ensemble consisting of loose white pants, a strapless black top, and a pair of dark boots.

The combination immediately reminded her of Android 21's original form, though with a style that also evoked Gojo and Toji—but in a more feminine version.

After paying for everything, Astra turned to Edna casually.

— "Would you give me your number?"

The shopkeeper raised an eyebrow and let out a light chuckle.

— "Sorry, darling, but I don't swing that way. I'm 100% heterosexual."

Astra burst out laughing.

— "Hahaha, you got it wrong. I just want it to buy more things from you in the future. Besides, you're not my type anyway. I like women my height."

Without realizing it, she had just indirectly admitted her attraction to women—right in front of Junko and Airi.

Edna narrowed her eyes at the height comment but simply smirked before handing over her number.

— "Come back soon."

With their shopping done, Astra, Junko, and Airi left the store and quickly headed for the bus stop.

Night had already fallen, and with it, the safety of the streets became questionable. They had barely walked three blocks when a group of three men blocked their path.

— "Hey, beautiful ladies. What are you doing out here at this hour?" asked the tallest of the group, a man with scars on his face and an abnormally long tongue slipping between his lips.

— "Looks like someone brought us a little present," added another—shorter but heavily built, with grotesquely oversized hands, three times the size of a normal person's.

The last one, unlike the other two, looked completely ordinary—a man without a quirk, but with a knife in hand and a lecherous gaze fixed on Airi, completely ignoring Astra and Junko.

Astra narrowed her eyes, showing not the slightest hint of concern. On the contrary, she felt an eerie sense of calm. Her mind filled with images of how she could eliminate them, each one darker than the last.

— "Seriously?" —she murmured with amusement, as if looking at a broken toy—. "You could've chosen a better way to commit suicide."

The scarred man frowned, irritated.

— "What did you just say, bitch?" —he growled, clenching his fists before storming forward in fury.

Before he could take another step, Astra raised a hand. A vibrant pink energy gathered between her fingers, casting a sinister glow across the alley.

In an instant, the man began to convulse. His body grotesquely distorted until it compressed into a gleaming sphere wrapped in paper. Now, on the ground, only a giant piece of candy remained.

The second thug stood frozen, horror etched across his face. The third, following his instincts, spun around and attempted to flee.

— "W-what the hell did you do?" —stammered the man with oversized hands, biting his tongue in the process.

Astra didn't answer. In the blink of an eye, she was already in front of him. Her speed was inhuman—too fast for him to react.

With a simple motion, she struck his neck with the back of her hand. Before his body could hit the ground, another pink flash enveloped him, turning him into candy. Astra caught him with her tail before he shattered into pieces.

Junko and Airi watched in complete silence. Airi's eyes were wide, unable to look away, while Junko seemed caught between fear and admiration.

Astra turned toward the last man, who was running away in terror. Without moving from her spot, she raised her hand and fired an energy beam. However, the attack fell short.

She clicked her tongue in annoyance.

— "Tch..."

Frustrated, she struck the ground with her tail, breaking off a chunk of concrete. She caught it mid-air and hurled it with surgical precision.

— Plaf.

The impact echoed as the projectile struck the thug's head, knocking him out. Astra extended her hand toward him, pulling him in with an invisible force until he was within reach. Without hesitation, she turned him into another piece of candy and tucked it into her pocket.

Finally, she turned to Junko and Airi with total ease, as if nothing unusual had happened.

— "Are we staying here all night, or are we moving on?" —she asked in her usual relaxed tone, her expression returning to normal.

Airi immediately nodded and picked up the pace to follow her, while Junko observed her for a moment longer before doing the same.

Neither of them cared much about what had happened, beyond the initial surprise. After all, they had lived in the streets for almost two years and had to survive in that harsh environment. They were not as innocent as their appearance suggested.

Two weeks later...

In the basement, Astra silently watched as several men writhed inside capsules before her. Her eyes gleamed with a cold light as she took meticulous notes in a notebook.

"Project: Sweet Quirks. Initial phase complete."

Thus began her experiments—to expand her quirk.

¡Sorry for the delay! I just finished the university CPU, and it took me longer than expected. Also, I had issues with the enrollment process due to some problems with the university.

Since I was one of the last to sign up, I ended up with the worst schedules because I had to choose at random. But oh well, as Napoleon used to say: "There's nothing we can do about it."

Now I have a week off before officially starting university. If anyone has experience with this, any advice is welcome. I know many of you are from different countries and probably have unique methods and ideas that could help a newbie like me. Any tips are greatly appreciated
