Within the dean's hall, Anon and Seth bowed deeply towards the Veerabhadran Rao, but the latter looked at Seth and shook his head.
"I wish for you to stay back." The dean said this and slowly raised his right hand. The moment Anon's eyes landed on the dean's right palm, his vision grew blurry, and before he realized, he was already standing before the doors of his assigned residence.
Rushing out of the manor were the robot servants that greeted him with the utmost respect.
By the time Anon returned to his room after a month, he took a quick glance at the clock at his bedside table.
It was already past 3 a.m. in the morning.
Unable to bear it any longer, he released a lengthy yawn before stretching. Sluggishly, he made his way to the bathroom.
By the time he exited the shower and changed into more casual clothing, it was already close to 4 in the morning.
