The next morning, everyone woke up to begin the search for the Wendigo's lair. Soren still played the foolish and blissfully ignorant lawyer that graduated from Stanford, but even he knew that as things were wrapping up soon, his blood cried out to hunt the Wendigo like it was a monster born of the Old Blood.
'Calm down,' he thought to himself as his blood cried out a tad more, 'we will be able to hunt the Wendigo more often once the boys finish it off with fire.'
As the group soon found Roy's corpse and both Dean and Haley were captured by the Wendigo, Soren could tell that things were finally nearing the end. Interestingly enough, the Wendigo did not seem all that interested in him compared to the rest of the group.
While Sam, Ben, and Soren followed the trail of peanut M&Ms towards the abandoned mine, Soren theorized that the main reason why the Wendigo didn't seem that interested in him was due to the fact he wasn't really human to begin with. Not to mention the fact he was actually a Seraph, but maybe it could tell that the bloodline of the Paleblood was giving off a strange scent?
As Sam and Ben managed to pry open the way into the abandoned mine, the System decided to notify Soren that the final boss fight of this hunt was coming up soon.

Soren's eyes widen slightly, thankfully left unnoticed by the others, at the notification from the System. He knew that one hundred experience points was essentially a free level during the beginning stages before it started to rise exponentially, but he was left confused as to why the System was notifying him now about the level up when he was not even able to use his Seraph abilities nor haven't used his Hunter's abilities.
In fact, before Soren could fully process what was happening to him, both Sam and Ben found Dean, Haley, and Tommy dangling from the ceiling of the mineshaft. This put Soren on guard immediately against the dark dampness of the mineshaft as he knew the Wendigo was still lurking about.
This eventually led into the whole canon thing happening where Dean ended up killing the Wendigo using the flare guns while Soren was left feeling something was incredibly off.
'Why did it feel like everything just blinked and now the Wendigo is defeated?' Soren thought to himself as things just seemingly finished on the spot.
Nevertheless, that seemed to satisfy the quest requirements as the System issued him his rewards as the Wendigo burned to a crisp. Despite seeing the rewards, it would remain in Soren's mind for quite some time as to why everything went into a "blink and you miss it" scene...
