Chapter 297 - Chapter 297: Violet: You’re Not Wearing Anything?!

"Another princess?!" Olivia growled, glaring at Luffy. "Do you have some kind of princess fetish or something?!"

Annoyed by his habit of bringing back new women every other day, Olivia pinched Luffy's waist. To her frustration, her fingers met solid muscle, and Luffy didn't react in the slightest.

"Alright, calm down and listen to me," Luffy said, raising his hands defensively. "Violet and I are not in that kind of relationship…"

While Luffy was attempting to calm Olivia and Kalifa, Violet narrowed her eyes, a sly smile forming on her lips. She raised her hand, forming an OK gesture with her thumb and forefinger, a faint purple film shimmering between the circle.

Bringing her hand to her eye, Violet peered at Kalifa through the translucent filter. After a brief pause, her lips curled mischievously.

"Hehe… look at you, all serious and professional, glasses girl. I didn't expect you'd be hiding black lace under there."

Kalifa blinked, confused.

It took a few seconds for Violet's words to register. Kalifa's face turned beet red as she dropped to the ground, screaming and clutching at her skirt.

"You… you pervert! How dare you peek at me?! This is harassment! I'll report you to the Marines and have you thrown in jail!"

Violet smirked, clearly enjoying Kalifa's meltdown.

Satisfied with her first strike, Violet turned to Olivia and repeated the same motion, glancing at her through the film. Her smug confidence, however, quickly shattered.

"You… you're not wearing anything?! You shameless woman!" Violet gasped, her cheeks flushing as she covered her mouth in shock.

Olivia rolled her eyes, placing her hands on her hips. "Excuse me?! You're the one peeping, and you dare call me shameless?"

To emphasize her point, Olivia stretched her leg slightly, tugging at her black stockings in a teasingly seductive manner.

"Look closely, princess. These are pantyhose. How can you say I'm not wearing anything?"

"Shameless! So shameless!" Violet spluttered. "What's the point of wearing something so transparent? It's basically nothing!"

Though Violet often presented herself as bold and confident, deep down, she was far more reserved and conservative. Olivia's unabashed demeanor was too much for her.

"This is unacceptable!" Violet exclaimed, stepping forward. "I challenge you to a duel! One-on-one!"

Kalifa, who had managed to recover somewhat, shot to her feet and pointed an accusatory finger at Violet.

"You think you're getting away with this?!" she yelled. "Peeping at me and mocking me?! You're dead, princess!"

Her outstretched hand began to shimmer faintly with the metallic gleam of Armament Haki.

As the tension between the three women escalated, Luffy sighed, running a hand down his face. Why does this always happen around me?

"Kalifa, Olivia," he called firmly, his voice cutting through the chaos.

"Hm?" Both women turned toward him in unison.

Without hesitation, Luffy stepped forward and delivered a quick love tap to each of their behinds.

"Hmm~!" The sound escaped both women simultaneously, their anger instantly deflating.

Kalifa's lips quivered as she clutched at her reddening cheeks, the metallic sheen of her Haki dissipating. Meanwhile, Olivia's face turned an even deeper shade of red as she glanced at Luffy with a mixture of embarrassment and longing.

"Luffy!" Kalifa protested weakly, her voice barely audible.

"Enough fighting," Luffy said firmly. "Mansherry and Violet are part of our team now. I expect all of you to get along. Understood?"

Olivia, still flustered, glanced at Luffy from under her lashes. Her eyes seemed to say, If you hit me again, I'll do anything you want.

Luffy rolled his eyes at her expression and flicked her forehead lightly. "We'll talk later. For now, behave."

Pouting, Olivia sighed and nodded reluctantly.

Kalifa, despite her mature and queenly demeanor, often revealed her more clumsy and endearing side in moments like these. She lowered her head, mumbling her agreement. Luffy patted both women lightly on their backs as a gesture of reassurance.

"Good," he said.

Kalifa and Olivia reluctantly stepped away, their frustration evident in their slow, hesitant steps. They disappeared around a corner, glancing back at Luffy every few steps.

As they walked, Kalifa's scowl deepened. "Hey, cow," she muttered.

"What now?" Olivia replied, her voice wary.

Kalifa's eyes gleamed as she made a series of hand gestures—an unspoken code between the two women, designed to avoid detection by Luffy's Observation Haki.

The message was clear: Kalifa planned to find Hancock while Olivia sought out Ain.

"If we're going to solidify our position as the top contenders, we need to prepare," Kalifa signed.

Olivia nodded in understanding. But before leaving, she smirked and added one last jab. "Oh, and Kalifa? Don't call me a cow again."

"Hmph!" Kalifa huffed, storming off with renewed determination.
