Evening in Glimaviel...
A day has passed after the youths who entered the Trial of the East have returned.
Elaris has still been observing the spirit and the man, but it didn't stop her from hearing around the news despite being a loner in her little room.
' This is taking longer than expected. '
She's been observing the spirit and man for a while, using all means to gain knowledge of the spirit and man.
At first, Elaris thought that she was just a deceased wife, and the man couldn't let go and now the deceased is trying to find out why.
But the more she observed, the more weirder, her guesses and small conclusions seemed to grow farther and farther away.
"I'm starting to doubt the brats judgement, she's an anomaly, totally a differet kind of the ones I've seen!"
She said under her breath, the sun was setting and it was time to follow the teacher again.
Just in time, the schools back door opened and there appears the man, along with the deceased girl.
Sigh...
Elaris looked at the spiritual body of the woman, it has turned to a different shade.
"If this goes on, she might be able to physically interact with him. Agh who knows what she'll do... "
Elaris rubbed her temples and followed behind the two, keeping a safe distance.
She didn't think it would have taken long to solve this mystery, normally she'd just whip up some shaman magic she invented and force her into rest...
' What kind of shaman would I be if I used force on the dead? I am not a necromancer.'
Sighing once more, she turned a corner and resumed her investigation.

Evening in Trial of the North. . .
A large and serene forest, green and filled with vegetation.
Deer's were hopping and running about, while a large moose with abnormally sharp antlers let out a groan.
Immediately after hearing the moose groan, all the deers in the nearby area fled and ran for their lives, leaving the few sources of water in this heavenly forest taken by an abnormal animal.
The moose was twice as tall as the ones seen in the Western Grid, the antlers were sharpened and had dry bloodstains on them.
The moose even had sharp teeth, like that of a wolf, while it's skin and fur were gray like an approaching storm cloud.
Wisps of black aura were emanating from it's towering body as it lowered its head to drink water from the pond, doing so, the antlers creaked a sound like a tree was snapping and about to fall.
Step—
The giant demonic moose suddenly raised it's head, the antlers shook once more, this time in an aggravated and defensive manner.
Silence...
Silence suddenly filled the surrounding pond, the birds chirping and singing died down, and the insects that made noises hushed.
Even the winds themselves have disappeared, the atmosphere seemingly tense.
Another stretch of silence.
THUMP!
The moose stomped it's leg, causing the ground to shake and stagger, vibrating even.
The moose looked around, shaking it's antlers as if to make who ever was stalking it come out in fear.
HUFF—!
Steam came out it's nose as the ghastly being tried to express it's aggression.
It's eyes, that were pure darkness just moments ago, suddenly turned red, and the wisps of dark aura emanating from it's body suddenly surged.
Then, it let out another loud howl.
The surrounding area trembled once more.
THUMP!
THUMP!
—!!!
Suddenly feeling threatened, it turned it's head from behind and was met by an arrow heading straight for it's eye.
The towering monster moved it's head and blocked it with it's antlers, but that was the wrong move...
Poof!
A cloud of red smoke suddenly exploded after the monster blocked the arrow with it's antlers, the red dust was then being inhaled by the creature.
Suddenly feeling weakened, it let out an angry wail as it jumped around and landed heavily on the ground each time.
"Comical."
A person whispered.
The towering behemoth suddenly turned it's head to the sound of the whisper, it huffed and readied itself to rush towards the direction where it heard a voice.
Fwoosh!
Fwoosh!
Two arrows suddenly appeared from a different direction where the behemoth was facing, too late to react, the large being was hit.
The first arrow had a sharp tip and looked like the teeth of a shark, it hit the moose at it's leg, perfectly at the joints where it allowed movements.
The towering monster let out an angry wail as it tried to dodge the second arrow, but again, it was already too late.
The second arrow was long, the arrow head was covered with a dark green liquid, it left a weird stench and a dangerous aura. The green liquid was spread from the arrow head, and half way on the arrows body.
The weird looking arrow spared through the sky and hit the moose at it's body, right in between the ribcage.
The arrow was sent flying at such high speed and force that only the arrows feather remained as it sunk through the tough hide of the moose.
—!!!
The giant behemoth let out a pained groan.
Shortly after, it fell to the ground, the red glow on it's eyes were fading.
And another moment later...
The monster was dead.
The bushes rustled and few figures came into view, and with their appearance, the forest became lively again.
Fair skin and hair that's either white, blonde, or pale pink. They had pointed ears and keen looking eyes, forest elves.
One person though... Was different...
A young boy came into view holding a small stone sword in his hands, his hair was pale red, his face looked somber and expressionless, not a single fire of passion igniting his soul, unlike his brother.
Speaking of his brother.
Another figure came from, a head taller that his younger brother, the older brother stepped and breathe in the air, the sun shining on his body.
His hair was bright red and he had dashing orange red eyes, his smile was filled with fiery determination and confidence.
"What a fine evening it is!!"
