Amidst the chaotic highway, survivors had breached the barricades.

"This won't do, the vehicles are filled with cash and supplies, there's no way to maintain order if survivors start looting, toss all the supplies off the truck, and you drive straight to B City."
"We'll treat Daddy Shi's injuries once we get to B City."
The senior members of the Clearing Team sprung into action, quickly stripping the vehicle of its supplies. Once emptied, they helped Daddy Shi into the vehicle and sped off toward B City.
The supplies that had just been thrown from the vehicle were now seized by the survivors who had overrun the blockade.
Supplies were tremendously important at this time; even an orange was worth fighting desperately for.
Other than Daddy Shi, only a few members of the Clearing Team remained in place, while the rest took a vehicle each, all loaded with money, heading in the direction of B City.
