Liu Ye felt some shame upon hearing Zhang Xiaoshan's words.
Her already flushed face became even redder.

"Regardless, I was wrong about the incident before. I shouldn't have doubted you just because you're a village doctor. I sincerely apologize to you and ask for your forgiveness."
As she spoke, Liu Ye also gave Zhang Xiaoshan a deep bow.

He had thought that someone as expert as Liu Ye would be rather arrogant, but to his surprise, she readily lowered her stance to apologize to him.
