Yet, cultivators themselves originate from mortals, favored by the heavens and earth with a Spirit Root, pursuing the supreme path. However, they often cannot truly detach from the secular world and also possess the Seven Emotions and Six Desires, experiencing the joys and sorrows of separation and reunion.
In the end, one is human first, and becomes an Immortal later.
