It had taken a few minutes, or more, before Belladonna and Sebastian reached the gates of Zarvoth's mansion.
She didn't feel all too well, despite the warmth provided by Sebastian, who promised her a bowl of hot mushroom soup as soon as they stepped in.
The mansion's surroundings were quiet, and with its massive size, it was definitely the second largest in the kingdom, after the castle itself.
The black gate, which Sebastian pushed open, allowed Belladonna to step inside. She kept her head low, her mind prepared for anything that might happen. She had seen quite a lot, to say the least.
"There's a quarter for the maids," Sebastian informed her, "but we must first greet the master of the house to let him know we're back. Otherwise, we'll face terrible consequences for sneaking out." Belladonna raised a brow.
