Yan was a death dimension much like Za. The way that she was different from Za is that she collected souls. She would cause death, create death scenarios, and allow death to bloom within her realms and domains. And then she would take the lingering souls and do it all again or keep them like souvenirs, decorative items, or even oddities that were kept on display.
Yan believed death and all that it encompassed and brought forth was art. And she treated it as such every waking moment of her existence. If she killed she did so with a flair that seemed both horrendous and comical are the same time.
