The couple sat in the dining room while having their breakfast in silence.
An Nuan stole a few glances at Lin Xiao Feng.
A breath of relief escaped her when she saw that Lin Xiao Feng was eating the breakfast she made.
As if noticing that someone was looking at him, Lin Xiao Feng raised his head to meet An Nuan's gaze. The look in his eyes was asking An Nuan why she was looking at him.
"How is the food?" An Nuan asked.
"Pretty good."
An Nuan smiled.
The foods she made were simple. She guessed that Lin Xiao Feng was saying those words to make her happy.
"Right." Lin Xiao Feng wiped his hand on the napkin before turning to An Nuan again. "An Nuan, you're going to attend the charity dinner with Madam Jiang today, right?"
"Hmm…" An Nuan was still nervous when she thought about meeting the madams at the event. Now that Lin Xiao Feng had mentioned the dinner, An Nuan realized that she had not picked up an outfit she should be wearing for the evening.
