Dylan stormed into Allan's office, the sound of his footsteps clicking the floor. He slammed the stack of documents onto the table. "I want this done as soon as possible," he said, his voice carrying the weight of urgency.
Allan looked up from his desk, his brow furrowed in confusion. "What's this? And why is it so urgent to you?"
Dylan leaned over the table, his hands gripping the rim as he spoke with no sign of humor. "Olivia. Her company is on the brink of bankruptcy, and I'll do whatever it takes to save it. It's my way in. That's how I get to make her willingly come to my side.
"Olivia? The same one you threw out of your house in the middle of the night? What the fuck is wrong with you." Allan inquired, knowingly overstepping his boundaries.
"Yes, the same one I asked you to follow and make sure she's fine. I'm not entirely the devil, am I?"
