Chapter 194 - Old Leviasaur

194. Old Leviasaur

Evidently, Old General Grant had ultimately failed to intimidate the Leviasaur clan of the Pacific.

They had inhabited these waters long before the State of Cascadia even existed.

"Form the formation!" The agents rose as one and, led by their lieutenant generals, swiftly lined up along the seashore. General Grant would handle the old Leviasaur himself—the two had been adversaries for many years. In the agent's mind, since the General's last breakthrough, he could handle the creature with ease.

Daring to order such a bold challenge at the shore, the old man was clearly prepared for the Leviasaur clan's counterattack—and confident in his ability to defeat them!

Their duty was to guard the seashore and prevent other aquatic creatures from exploiting the chaos to infiltrate Vancouver.

In the next moment, the black spine breached the surface, its scales gleaming with metallic light. The massive body churned the seawater as a sharp, hideous head suddenly erupted upward!

"ROAR!" The Leviasaur's massive jaws gaped open, revealing rows of sharp fangs. Its crimson tongue lashed out as it unleashed a piercing roar that split the sky!

The shockwaves rippled outward, sending agents staggering as they clutched their ears in agony. Their eyes turned toward the ocean, filled with terror.

The Leviasaur's massive head, supported by its agile body, rose more than a thousand feet into the air, its rising black shadow blotting out the sky. Most of its colossal form still remained hidden beneath the waves.

After years of hiding, this overlord of the Pacific finally unleashed its might upon the world once more.

The old Leviasaur lowered its gaze from the sky toward the black-armored figure on the shore. Its vertical pupils flickered with an icy coldness. "Skyler Grant, what gives you the audacity to provoke me?"

Having received elixirs from the Vampire King, it had already planned to kill this old man once it achieved its breakthrough.

To its surprise, the old man displayed even greater insolence before it could emerge from the water to exact its revenge.

"..."

Skyler Grant exhaled softly, his grip tightening on the massive silver halberd.

The aura displayed by this old Leviasaur at this moment had already confirmed the news brought by Kane.

Among the seventeen Vampire Lords under Blood Moon, this Leviasaur would now rank within the top three most powerful, especially given its home advantage in the Pacific.

"General, what are our chances?" Vernon Wells asked, having clearly sensed something was amiss with the old man.

Skyler Grant glanced at him. "How long will it take Aisha Patani to get here?"

Vernon Wells calculated quickly. "Half a day?"

"How have I treated you?" General Grant shifted his gaze back to the Leviasaur that towered in the sky.

"Like your own son or nephew!" Vernon Wells replied without hesitation.

"Just remember to bring flowers to my grave each year. That kid's too busy to be counted on. "

General Grant closed his eyes as the massive silver halberd in his hand flew forth with a resonant hum, shooting straight into the sky!

The halberd, which had nearly slain Karim Shaheen with one strike, now seemed almost feeble before the old Leviasaur.

As expected, the Leviasaur's lips curled into a sneer.

With a casual sweep of its tail, the vast Strait of Georgia erupted in chaos. A monstrous wave, hundreds of feet high, surged upward, threatening to devour everything in its path!

Every movement of this terrifying beast could bring unimaginable disaster to the small Temple Village.

While H.A.R.M. agents were skilled at slaying vampires, they were powerless against such a monstrous wave. All they could do was circulate their essence defensively as they watched the towering wall of water bear down on the shore!

Suddenly, the giant wave froze in mid-air.

Surprise flickered in the old Leviasaur's eyes. "Hmm?"

Then it watched as the seawater suddenly grew calm, transforming into a long bridge of water that surged toward the distant village.

This extraordinary sight left everyone gaping in astonishment.

Even the halberd changed direction, now pointing directly at the village.

Within moments, a young man emerged from the village, his black armor gleaming with an ethereal dark light as he stepped onto the flowing water bridge.

… …

From afar, I gazed at the Leviasaur hovering in the sky while ocean waves surged beneath my feet. The waves carried me across the distance, and as I ascended toward the heavens, I effortlessly claimed the massive silver halberd.

General Grant opened his eyes, his hand clenching reflexively. "That kid! What is he thinking?"

Grant was a harmonizing warrior who nurtured a Redeemed Spirit, yet before he could even resist, his weapon was taken away.

"General..." Vernon Wells turned his head in disbelief. Isn't there something even more astonishing than the weapon being stolen?

They were all vampire fighters, and even if General Kane's realm was far higher, that alone wouldn't have shocked them. But this ability to walk on ocean waves and soar through the air like a divine being—which Martial Academy could possibly teach that?

A thousand feet up in the sky.

Surrounded by ocean waves, I gripped the silver halberd. My crimson cloak billowed in the wind, turning into a red glow that illuminated the scene before everyone's eyes.

Looking down at the Leviasaur below, I felt a sudden surge of displeasure.

Hovering above the Strait of Georgia, I felt a deep connection to these waters, as if this were my own domain.

Now, this beast dared to intrude upon my territory.

"Hah, so this is why the old man acted so boldly. He had called for reinforcements…..."

The old Leviasaur eyed the black-armored young man warily. Though he appeared to be another H.A.R.M. General, this one was unfamiliar... Wait—suddenly it detected a strangely familiar aura emanating from him.

Before it could identify the source of this aura, a dazzling metallic glint flashed in its vertical pupils!

The massive silver halberd streaked through the air like lightning!

With the full might of the Seventh Transformation of Sanguine Resurrection behind it, the halberd slammed into the hideous Leviasaur's head.

The colossal beast was hurled backward, teetering precariously toward the shore.

As the massive black shadow loomed over them, the H.A.R.M. officers scrambled to safety with all their strength!

Yet the old Leviasaur managed to steady itself.

Massive streams of water errupted from the ocean surface, coiling around its body like giant pythons to prevent its fall.

The old Leviasaur's forehead bone—as hard as refined steel—had been pierced by the halberd. Plasma blood stained its fearsome eyes. In that single exchange, it had discovered far too many impossibilities!

The Leviasaur wasn't alone in noticing something amiss.

On the seashore, the disarmed Skyler Grant and Vernon Wells watched with identical expressions of astonishment and suspicion.

Was this truly a H.A.R.M. General battling a harmonizing Vampire Lord?

Not a single technique General Kane used was familiar to them.

"ROAR!"

The old Leviasaur bellowed, shaking off the water streams encasing its body. The streams transformed into countless water arrows that filled the sky, hurtling toward its opponent!

At the same time, its massive body, concealed beneath the waves, slammed upward!

...

The mountain-shattering water arrows disintegrated and scattered the instant they neared me. My gaze fixed on the Leviasaur's immense, scale-covered tail as it began its devastating descent.

I reached out and pressed my palm against it.

BOOM!

Emerald light danced across my slender fingers as they pressed against the scaled body. My fingertips sank deeper, empowered by an immense force, gradually piercing through its flesh.

Compared to the Leviasaur's massive tail, I appeared impossibly tiny.

By all logic, I should have been instantly crushed, yet we remained locked in a stalemate high above the ground.

A mere human of ordinary size stood against a colossal Leviasaur that blotted out both sky and sun—locked in an impossible contest of raw strength!

No fancy martial arts or flashy combat techniques.

Through sheer, overwhelming force, I dominated the old Leviasaur!
