"You are a moron." Phoebe blurted out.
Maureen raised her head so quickly and poked her head in front like the most curious of cats. It was rare to see Phoebe call a client names and right now, Collin Baltimore was very much a client.
"Pheebs..." Rekha started but Maureen was not having it.
"Shut up." she hushed at Rekha. She wanted to see where this was heading.
Ignoring her aunt, Phoebe jutted a finger in Collin's direction. "You are not just a moron but a selfish bastard too. I have begged you many times to let me speak to Cassie, but you refused. You knew....deep down you must have suspected that she was related to Connie's death directly, but you kept a lid on it. If you had allowed me to speak to them and find out the truth and then help them come to some kind of understanding, we would not be here."
"It's complicated, I wanted to protect both of my sisters." Collin defended himself.
