Susan's POV
"Ahh!" I screamed, letting out all my frustration, shoving anything in my way. I was furious. That woman—Claire! She was back in the country! After everything I did to get her out of the picture, after everything I sacrificed, she was here again, stronger than before!
In the past, she was easy to manipulate, too naive to see through me. But now? No matter what I tried, I knew it wouldn't work the same way. She would never believe a word I said, and I knew she had come for Evander. She was going to take him from me, and that thought drove me mad.
"Oh my God! What is all this?" Angel, my manager, burst into the room after hearing the loud noises but stopped in shock as she looked at the mess I had created.
"How dare she go for an audition!" I snapped as I paced around in the room, still fuming. "Does Claire think she can just walk into the entertainment industry like that? Over my dead body! Ban her. I don't want to see her face anywhere near this industry!"
