"Quickly write down the structural diagram; I think something will happen later!" Brit quickly shouted.

But just as he finished shouting, an accident occurred. The whole room suddenly started to vibrate violently, and an inexplicable roar came from an unknown place. It sounded like some giant beast was roaring wildly somewhere in this facility. In addition, the lights in the entire room suddenly began to flicker violently; it was like the power supply was unstable.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!"

"What the hell is going on?!"

"Grab onto something!"

The group was startled and quickly grabbed anything around them that they could. Fear bred in their minds, with Vale being the most obvious. He was sweating profusely, and his face was frighteningly pale. During the violent shaking, he saw a tall and thin person appear at the door of the room, staring at him with a pair of distorted eyes filled with malicious intent. Its hands were large, and it felt like it could pinch the head of an adult.

"Ahhhh!" Vale, who was already terrified, broke down. With a scream, he bolted away. After being enhanced, his speed was extremely fast, rushing to the door in the blink of an eye.

But he was still a step behind; the strange entity disappeared in an instant, leaving no trace behind. Vale suddenly lost his target and was shaken violently, causing him to fall to the ground. His face made intimate contact with the ground, resulting in a nosebleed.

Just in time, the shaking of the room began to weaken and finally calmed down slowly, and the lights in the room stabilized.

"Vale!"

"Damn it! Vale, are you okay?" The others saw that Vale's face was covered in blood, so they rushed to help him up.

"Did you see that thing again?" Brit frowned. He observed Vale's condition and knew that the abnormal effect of the "Cowbell" had occurred again.

"Right!" Vale nodded, his face dripping with blood. He was about to speak again, but he vomited blood uncontrollably.

Brit quickly patted Vale's back.

Vale waved his hand, looking a little tired: "I'm fine... Hurry up and find a way to move forward; I don't think I can last long..."

Brit sighed. Vale was not only suffering from the abnormal effect of the "Cowbell," but also the side effects of being enhanced. His current condition could be described as very poor; he was probably going to die soon.

"Can Vale endure?"

"Vale can't do it; you should get out first!"

"Don't hold on..."

The others looked at Vale with concern.

Vale shook his head and grinned: "It's okay! Let's go! Let's go now while I can still move!"

The others felt very helpless. Since Vale was unwilling to quit the game, they could not force him to. Their attention shifted to the violent vibration they had just experienced.

RT asked with confusion on his face: "What happened just now? That sound was so loud. Like, damn, how large must the thing that made that sound be?"

After RT asked, the others nodded vigorously.

"I don't know; it's probably a very dangerous SCP in this facility!" Brit shook his head.

Just as RT was about to say something more, an alarm sounded in the room. The group was startled, and when they looked back, they immediately saw a small red light flashing on the instrument in the room. Furthermore, the metal door through which they had entered suddenly closed.

"Did the Shadow Person break through containment..." Brit was shocked. Then he noticed that a red warning subtitle had popped up on the computer screen on the table:

[Warning: System failure]

[Location: Lighting Unit of SCP-017, Metal Door of Containment Area]

[Object Class: Keter]

[Contact the supervisor immediately!]

Brit was still in shock when Kiwo, next to him, suddenly pointed to the depths of the room and exclaimed: "Look! That door is open!"

They turned their heads to look and found that the metal door requiring a card swipe had opened.

"The metal door in the containment area is malfunctioning; it should be part of the game's plot!" Brit quickly figured out the situation and approached the adjacent metal door.

This door was a button type. They had entered through this door before, but it had just closed automatically. Brit pressed the button, but the metal door remained unresponsive.

"Sure enough, the entire containment area is sealed off!" Brit said softly. "From this point of view, the meaning of the game should be to let us solve the system failure..."

After speaking, Brit looked back at the computer screen again and continued to analyze: "Two faults are displayed on the computer screen. The metal door of the containment area broke down and opened automatically. This should be for our convenience in entering the containment area; otherwise, we would not be able to get in, let alone solve the problem."

"And the failure of the lighting unit in SCP-017's containment room should be what we need to resolve. After the lighting unit failure is addressed, the blockade here should lift!" After Brit finished, Kiwo and the others nodded slightly, clearly agreeing with his analysis.

But then Kiwo said with a grimace: "That means we need to enter the Shadow Person containment room..."

"Yes, that's right..."

"Ugh..." Kiwo groaned.

The others also looked worried. From the file, the Shadow Person was an extremely dangerous entity. If they entered its containment room rashly, they might accidentally be swallowed by it.

"No way, this is the game progress." Brit sighed. "However, since the game provides such a level, the player must have a chance to beat it. Otherwise, what's the point of this level? Don't be discouraged; let's go!"

"Hmm! Don't lose heart! Let's go!" Kiwo raised her small fist and shouted boldly.

Brit couldn't help but laugh.

Afterward, the group officially set off and approached the metal door of the containment area deep in the room. The metal door had opened automatically, revealing the scene inside. It appeared that there was a passage, with a metal door at the end of it. Additional metal doors lined both sides.

The five then entered the passage one by one. After arriving here, the [SCP-017 Containment Area Design Plan] they had found earlier came in handy. Following the Design Plan, they quickly located the containment room, maintenance area, power control room, and other areas.

To test whether the containment area was truly sealed off, Brit went to the end of the passage and attempted to open the metal door that led outside. As expected, the metal door did not react at all.

"It seems that we must solve the malfunction in the containment room before we can go out..." Brit shook his head.

He wasn't discouraged; he waved his hand and led the others to explore the entire containment area. Finally, they found a document. The file's title was:

[Detailed Explanation of the Lighting Unit in SCP-017 Containment Room]

They opened the file and saw the basic technical information regarding the lighting unit in the containment room. It also provided a solution to the problem.

After reading the information, they suddenly realized.

Plumbella said: "That means we're going to be lightbulb fixers for a while!"

Brit nodded. "It looks like it!"

RT pouted, shook his head, and said: "This light bulb repair job isn't easy; it's life-threatening..."

Brit shook his head: "No way; no matter how difficult it is, we have to fix it!"

After a pause, Brit added: "Let me do it this time!"
