Rita's guess was actually correct. The players whose names flickered all had some sort of controversy surrounding them. Deceitful Bloom and the Captain were battling for her, and other players also had their top gods and demons—who were, of course, also scheming for them.
There were actually still plenty of bugs, just like there are harmless bugs in many games from BS Stars. These bugs are very entertaining, and sometimes, after being reported, they are kept around for the amusement factor. Rita wasn't the only one to discover the bug, but she was the first to report it.
Who would've guessed that by the eighth round, after Rita discovered the bug and played with it once, she would immediately flip the table?
After Rita sighed deeply, she waited for a while, but there was no response from the system.
"Did they hang up the phone?" she wondered.
