the day calamity ganon rose link wasn't with zelda returning from the spring of wisdom no link was right where he needed to be the king thought that things should go the same way they should have but he didn't know that it would have lead to the deaths of many many people especially people link didn't want to see die. so link told zelda he would be staying at hyrule castle because that was where ganon would rise she was shocked and a little sad he wouldn't be coming with like he did for both the shrine of power and the shrine of courage but understood he was under orders from the goddess herself but that didn't erase the loneliness she felt. but after encouragement from mipha she went, while link hid in the castle waiting for calamity ganon to show his ugly mug when he did he tried to send out his blights but the moment he showed up link used the area seal making the lights representing both the blights and the spirits that would have possessed the guardians bounce back as a light dome covered hyrule castle the blights lined up each taking a different gate house leading up to the main coronation room of hyrule castle where ganon himself was waiting.
link hid before the first gatehouse knowing this would happen but as he finished using the seal he heard a guttural roar of "No! My plans!!!" coming from the center of hyrule castle peeking through the gatehouse window he spotted the water blight one of the easiest bosses he ever fought in the game but it was real life now and he had to beat four in a row plus ganon before he could rest checking his inventory of food he made sure he had plenty of hearty cooked food like steamed hearty durian, hearty tuffle mushroom skewer, and hearty radish cooked vegies, he also made sure he had plenty of meat skewers that healed the most after the hearty items that healed everything plus adding additional hearts. he was sure glad his inventory froze time on all items because it took him a couple month to gather up all these healing items not to mention gathering ten fairys just in case although they didn't fully heal like they did in ocarina of time but they did save him if he didn't heal in time in between battles
link finished checking everything including his spare swords and shields he even managed to collect the hylian shield that was for some reason still in the dungeons even though it hasn't been a hundred years yet. link took a deep breath to get focused then jumped into the gatehouse with bars sliding over all doors and windows magically the water blight tried to hit him with ice but considering he could just break them with cryosis they didn't really get anywhere, link hit him in the eye with a arrow then he was down for the count letting link smack him with his sword when the blight got up link hit him with his stasis+ which he had purah upgrade to all hell(note:why the hell is she still a child she must have undergone her experiment years ahead) then continued smacking him till he went down again, he repeated the process till he was dead.
as link made his way to the next gatehouse he drank a attack up times three potion after grabbing his free heart container which from his maximum of twenty-two hearts brought him to twenty-three. when he peeked inside the second gate house he saw the fire blight inside sighing as he muttered "guess that means next is wind then thunder" then jumped in not needing healing from his first fight. link used the same tactics as before avoiding all attacks stunning him by shooting the glowing eye then smacking him stasis when needed then smack again. when he was done took a short breather to eat a meat skewer as he was nicked a couple times by his attack. grabbing the heart container link proceeded toward the third gatehouse and the wind blight.
when he fought the windblight he was nicked a couple more times but the same method he used fighting the last two worked just the same but he knew the lightning blight was a different story.
arriving at the fourth and final gatehouse link made sure he was fully healed before chugging a lightning resistance potion before entering, this blight was a different ballgame he had to anticipate when it charged him and attack first smacking it down repeating that everytime it charged and avoiding all electric blasts made it easy but the hard part was on the second half of it's health when it dropped the metal spikes down and started shocking them getting one right up next to its head without getting shocked himself was a doosy but he managed it grabbing the last heart container he made it to the coronation room where ganon was inside a fleshy sack hanging from the center and the king seemed well out of it looking at the cacoon-like thing with dread when he noticed link strolling in "what are YOU doing here you're supposed to be with zelda and the champions?" he demanded clearly in shock that link wasn't where he was supposed to be.
Link smirked as he plotted a way up above the cacoon "change of plans from the goddess you don't have to die today" "DIE? what do you mean die?" the king said in shock as he slumped into his throne with exhaustion. "well sir if i didn't get sent by hylia then you and many many people would have died zelda would have sealed herself away with ganon for a hundred years and i would have needed the resurrection chamber for a hundred years but im here now and ganon's gonna be a shishkabob" climbing above the cacoon link leapt slaming down on the cacoon pointy end first with the master sword he detached the cacoon with the force alone slaming through the floor of the coronation room and into the chamber below.
to say that was a smart move would be an understatement as he royally pissed off ganon and also trapped him in the huge chamber with him while ganon came to his full spidery form nd roared at link, link just smirked as he pointed above him where a massive blue light rained down on ganon taking almost half his health. "guess they made it back to the divine beasts alright and no blight being there to kill them off was a plus too." link muttered as he readied his master sword and hylian shield. fighting ganon was easy from that point he blocked strikes he couldn't dodge with his shield and when he he dodge he made use of his flurry strike skill, when ganon was weak enough he put up his fire shield which made no difference as flurry strike ate right through that just like in the game. when ganon was down for the count and too weak to transform into his rage mode link slamed his sword right into his head turning ganon to stone then shattering his statue with a kick of his foot freeing the master sword. when link looked around again he was back in front of a tunnel inside hyrule castle leading deep in to the depths of hyrule castle. Link smirked then offered a prayer to goddess hylia "you are right my goddes one lose end" before he walked down into the gloomy tunnel.
