Cain stepped into the police station, his sharp eyes immediately finding Wuner Hudel standing beside his son, Wryn Hudel. Wuner had an air of arrogance about him, his arms crossed over his chest, his lips curled into a smirk as if he was above all of this. Wryn, on the other hand, looked nervous—his hands were clenched tightly, his posture stiff.
Chief Argo, seated at his desk, gave Cain a short nod before motioning for him to take a seat. Cain didn't bother with pleasantries. His jaw was tight, his fingers twitching slightly against his coat as he took his place across from Wuner.
Argo exhaled and leaned forward. "Cain, after conducting an in-depth investigation, we have strong evidence to suggest that your youngest son, Adrian, was kidnapped by Wuner Hudel when he was only three months old."
Cain's fingers curled into fists.
