One day, a month later.
Randall was invited to his apprentice's dormitory.
"Instructor, please take a look."
After greeting him, Ivan guided his mentor into his apothecary lab and gestured toward a mulberry wood cabinet on one side of the room. Hanging from one corner of the cabinet was a cocoon the color of mulberry wood.
Once the Silkworm Queen reached a certain stage of growth, it unprecedentedly began spinning silk, taking just half an hour to create a fist-sized cocoon and enclosing itself within.
"I was afraid of disturbing the Silkworm Queen, so I could only invite you here, hoping you could take a look for me."
"Cut the nonsense. Exactly how far has the little one grown? Don't tell me you're clueless." Randall's expression was serious as he scrutinized the cocoon in the corner.
