The captain's room of the Golden Great Sail Ship was probably the only living area on the vessel. Given the decor of the other cabins, this captain's room, equating to an apartment with three bedrooms and two living areas and covering over a hundred square meters, could be considered the most wasteful in terms of space usage.
Since other cabins were filled with glass beads encapsulating planets...
From this aspect, setting up a living area on the Golden Great Sail Ship indeed didn't make much sense. The owner of the ship only needed to pick any glass bead, letting a crew member live on a planet wouldn't be a problem at all.
