Ishtar, in a bright light guest room that night, anxious about Pixie's next move, her heart raced under a lot of tension like a mouse on a trap, with a worried gaze.
As Pixie slowly leaned in, Ishtar's lips parted slightly, revealing a hint of uncertainty, while her eyes flickered between Pixie's gaze and the space in between.
Slowly Pixie's lips met Ishtar's, pecking on them vulnerably at first. "From the day that I met you, I've always wanted to do this." Pixie whispered, the vulnerability in her voice sending a charge through Ishtar.
"I can't do this!" Ishtar whispered back, in a confused state of mind, "I've never kissed a fellow woman before..."
"Shhhhhh," Pixie silenced her, gently placing a finger on her lips, "just relax, allow me to show you how it feels _ you're going to like it."
Softly and slow she handled her.
Corners of Ishtar's mouth twitched nervously, caught between anticipation and fear, reflecting the silent battle between wanting to bridge the gap yet fearing the vulnerability in trying something she has never done before.
Gently, pixie leaned in again. Ishtar's breath came in quick.
She hesitantly leaned in too. There lips met softly at first, a gentle exploration that soon deepened into something full of passion and longing.
Both their bodies and the bed got messy in the process of sharing kisses and orgasm.
After a while, while both ladies relaxed naked under bedcovers, "how was it?" Pixie, smiling with a strong feeling of enjoyable excitement, asked.
"I think I have to get used to it," Ishtar replied, "It's sweet though _ but sweeter with a man if am to be honest with you."
"You were nervous that's why," Pixie said to her, "next time it's gonna be a hundred times sweeter trust me."
"Mmm, I don't believe you."
A playful glimmer in Pixie's eyes as she leaned closer, "you wanna bet?" She asked her on the face.
Pixie had no romantic feelings for any man her entire life. She was much more into fellow women and to bring Ishtar into her game was like winning a jackpot.
However, Pixie being a lesbian was a secret she never ever wanted her parents to know about.
Months went by. Bob Lee's story began to change, from being an adorable billionaire young man who used to use his money well under a very supportive young lady Ishtar, to becoming a very reckless party animal.
Under Nadia Browne's influence, he started circling himself with wrong people he called friends, people who knew no struggle, people who only showed up when champagne flowed.
"Come-on rich buddy, let's celebrate," they always reached out to his mobile number, be it late at night or any hours during day time.
With Nadia Browne and these friends they did dinners at five star restaurants, nights at rooftop clubs in different cities and countries.
First class everything everyday.
Bob Lee became the life of the party and ATM for everyone in it. He stopped attending to work, he stopped checking his account, and he stopped saying no!
Everything Nadia Browne needed he offered, everywhere Nadia Browne needed to go they went. He bought every jewelry; diamond necklaces, gold rings and designer outfits for her wherever they went to.
One day Sonia had to meet with them at one of the five star clubs in town, but she couldn't access a descent conversation with her boss Bob Lee. She insisted on having a word with her best friend Nadia Browne privately, which took place in the female washrooms.
But it was all arguments.
Nadia said, "It's written all over you just that you can't say it straight to my face! Open up that you're jeolous of this life I'm living with my husband Sonia!" Arrogantly drunk from a few shots of tequila.
She mistook her word of advise for jeolousy.
"Im married to a wealthy young man _ and you don't even have a poor one to hold you when the nights get colder. Which is enough to make you join the haters club."
"Can you listen to yourself Nadia?" Sonia, hurting deep within, couldn't believe her best friend's kind of reasoning that she ran short of words to respond with. "Is that how you see me!?"
"If you're not jeolous of me then what?"
But on the other hand, she understood Nadia was drunk when she looked and analysed the kind of mood she was in. She saw no need to start a battle of words with her.
Sonia took a deep breathe, "let me table the major reason here."
"Bob Lee will soon run bankrupt if you don't do something to stop his expenditure. His personal accounts are running empty and soon he's switching to using company funds on this luxury life both of you are living."
Frankly speaking, Sonia told Nadia.
Nadia continues to sip on a glass she has in hand, "my man is a billionaire, there's no way he can run short of currency."
"Am only warning you to become that wife he will need in future. If you truly love him, that is. Save him from running bankrupt."
Sonia said her final words and walked out of the washrooms swiftly, mad inside though.
Not so long, Nadia Browne walked out of the washrooms too, and went on to join the big boys including Bob Lee.
"Come on, these two shots are waiting on you," Bob Lee lifted a shooter glass direct to Nadia's mouth, "not cheating a shot was the agreement." Talking drunkard, as the rest of friends cheered the moment.
One after the other, Nadia Browne collected the tequila shots and poured them into her mouth, and shouted excitedly on top of her voice, dancing all over the place.
Club lights of different colours and electric music filled the air, the party continued.
As a saying goes, 'what you sow is what you harvest', one good afternoon Ishtar spoke to her best friend Pixie about how her son was now two years old, about to start attending school.
In bikin outfits, sunbathing at the swimming pool side sipping on a sundowner cocktail, "you know what?" Ishtar started a sensitive conversation.
Pixie, not as much attentive, "what?" She responded.
"I don't know how this is gonna sound but, I feel like I've overstayed my welcome at your parents' house."
This statement didn't sound normal to Pixie. She was forced to raise up from the sunbath bed and sat, wearing an inquisitive glance at Ishtar.
"Tell me what I've just heard you say is not exactly what I've heard!" Confoundedly Pixie spoke.
"What you've heard is exactly what I've said."
"No no no, you're not going anywhere Ishtar," Pixie worriedly opposed.
"My son is two years now, it's only a year left for him to start school, I dont want the burden of his tuitions to be carried by your family. I appreciate you've taken care of us enough."
"You're so selfish Ishtar!" Pixie lost control, stood up real quick and angrily hurried to leave.
Suddenly, Ishtar stood up and followed her from behind as she threw explanations loud enough to reach her ears clearly.
"I know why your acting like this Pixie! It's jealousy eating you up! You need to learn sleeping with men not me!" Ishtar yelled.
Pixie's mother, while she was standing up on the balcony, over heard the words Ishtar was throwing at Pixie. The words carried a very sensitive secret she didn't know about her daughter.
"Wait, my own daughter is a lesbian!" She was so shocked to hear this.
