The maid went up to call Gu Yao for dinner but stopped when she saw Gu Yao crying in her room.
Seeing that the door was locked from the inside by Gu Yao and couldn't be opened, the maid could only keep knocking on the door relentlessly.
"Miss, Miss, what's wrong with you?"
"What happened? Open the door, don't scare me."
"Miss?!"
Hearing the maid calling her from outside, Gu Yao, not wanting her family to worry, stood up, hastily wiped away her tears, and opened the door.
"Miss, what's wrong with you?" The maid looked at Gu Yao, whose face was covered in tears and whose eyes had swollen in just a few minutes, very concerned.
"I'm fine," Gu Yao sobbed as she continued to wipe the relentless tears.
"Is it because of the painting?"
"What painting?"
Seeing that it apparently wasn't about the painting, the maid quickly shook her head, "No, nothing."
