THEY WALKED in, silent behind him. The only possible 'noise' were the singing trees that greeted him as his went past them or offered him fruits for him to eat.
"Are you plants and flowers like this?"
"Like what? Singing and joyful?"
"Well… Yes" Nagini answered.
Mekov paused on his feet and reached his hands out to the closest tree. He stroked it gently like it was his precious child. And it might as well be, as he was their ruler.
"Not really. It just recently began. And I don't mind it at all."
"Recently?" Luella peered.
"Yes. Well, compared to human time, it would have being centuries? Five? Six? Seven? I don't I know, I have no more reason to keep track of human time." He shrugged as he resumed his walk.
"Wait… time flows different here and human realm?!"
