LOUISA GROANED as she flew backwards on her bed. Tired wasn't the word she was to use to describe what and how she was feeling.
Exhausted was even more of a mediocre word.
"My lady, your bath is ready." Mary Grace informed, leaning on her knees as she stared at Lady Louisa.
Louisa lifted her arm from her face.
"Is it hot?" She asked.
"Yes, of course. I made it hot enough for you." Mary Grace answered, as she stood straight.
Turning around, the young maid began preparing and bringing out everything Louisa would possibly need for her bath. Her hands touched a wet cloth.
Furrowing her brows, she nodded and took it along.
"She would need this, too. The lady might fall asleep again in the bath."
Stripping from her fancy dress, she slipped into the bath and let Mary Grace do the rest.
