THE RIDE back home was uncomfortable. In fact, it was so uncomfortable Luella opened all the window, even the little space that is used to communicate with the coachman.
"Let me guess, you have something you want to say?" Luella muttered, placing her head close to the window.
Levites pulled the reins of the horse, making it slow down a bit. "May I talk freely my lady."
She sighed as she nodded. "Yes, you may."
"Please don't get me wrong, but I do understand your stress and annoyance in all this. I mean, you are praying for the young master's return while being forced to train for a war you didn't know about and—"
