THE ALARM she would usually set in case she was asleep before midnight woke her up. Opening her eyes, she didn't see Archibald in the room again.
"I guess, he must have left already." She muttered. Slipping on her night jacket and slipper she went to her window.
Pushing it open she called out to Ulric.
"Mr. Faceless… Mr. Shadow Man…{pause}" She hesitated to call them, but she could sense their presence. They were, for some reason, she could feel their annoying smile sneering at her. But regardless… she acknowledged their presence.
"—And helpers."
Their grin got wider as they jumped back into her room. Ulric said nothing. There was no point, she had already seen their face, so there was no need hiding like him.
"There have being a change in plan."
This piqued Ulric's ears. "Change in plan?"
