ZINA
Just as the arrow was released, Shadow, like a bolt of lightning, quickly positioned his bloody, bleeding self in front of Zina to block the arrow again.
But the arrow never made it to them. A small glinting knife, flying from nowhere, knocked the arrow of course until the arrow head slammed and embedded itself against a cluster of rocks, consequently shattering the rocks.
The knife, as if under some truly stunning control, flew back to its weirder, and everyone's eyes watched as a masked figure easily caught the knife, twirling it expertly with his fingers.
Zina barely had the time to process it before the masked figure was barrelling towards Raven at lightning speed, his silver knife a blur of blinding light. It was like watching a tsunami, unstoppable and unrelenting, as the masked figure bore down on Raven. The air seemed to ripple with the force of his approach, and Zina felt her breath catch in her throat as she watched, transfixed.
