The bedroom was dimly lit.

Haru sat on the edge of the bed and raised his hand.

The Fourth Magic activated.

Connect to the Magic Foundation—issue the command—execute.

In his gray eyes, reflected in the mirror across from him, an ordinary glass appeared in his outstretched hand, seemingly materializing from thin air. Then, warm water, precisely 30 degrees Celsius, filled the glass.

Haru lifted the glass to his lips and drank, the water soothing his parched throat.

"Surprisingly—useful…" he murmured, then, with a sudden clench of his hand, the glass shattered, the fragments falling to the floor, transforming into diamonds the moment they made contact.

He looked at the scattered diamonds. If he had them cut and polished, strung together into a necklace or a bracelet—they could probably fetch a hundred thousand dollars or so.

But to Haru, such things were meaningless. With the Fourth Magic, he could create diamonds, emeralds, gold—any material he desired—limited only by his magical energy reserves.

The Fourth Magic, the manipulation of matter, allowed him to create and reshape physical objects at will—alchemy, materialized.

"Let's try—this." He activated the Fourth Magic again, and Diarmuid Ua Duibhne's Gáe Dearg appeared in his hand, a perfect replica.

A paradox. A counterfeit creation, yet identical to the original in every way—its composition, its history, its very essence.

No two things are ever truly alike. But the Fourth Magic defied that law.

A second Gáe Dearg now existed. Even Diarmuid himself, holding the original, wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Haru, as if caught up in the novelty of his newfound power, began creating more replicas—Gáe Buidhe, Beagálta, Arondight, even Excalibur—a pile of "genuine" Noble Phantasms littered the floor.

"Counterfeit Creation," he murmured, giving his new hobby a name. From dirt and stone to legendary weapons, as long as he understood their structure, he could create a perfect copy.

"So, after experimenting with the Third Magic on me, you're now testing the Fourth?" A sultry voice, laced with amusement, echoed from behind him.

Haru turned, his face flushing slightly.

A slender arm, pale and smooth, reached out from beneath a velvet duvet, pulling it back to reveal Gilgamesh, her golden hair tousled, a faint blush coloring her cheeks—the afterglow of their activities.

She leaned against a mountain of pillows, her back propped up against the headboard, her expression languid.

"Aren't you going to cover yourself?" Haru asked, gesturing towards the discarded duvet.

"There's no need," Gilgamesh replied, stretching, a yawn escaping her lips, a single tear clinging to her eyelashes. She seemed completely unconcerned by her state of undress, the duvet within easy reach, yet ignored.

She looked down at her arm, her voice soft, almost a murmur. "It's been a while since I've been human."

"You didn't enjoy it?" Haru touched his nose, remembering last night. He'd taken advantage of Gilgamesh's medicated state, using the Third Magic to materialize her physical body, then, emboldened by his success, he'd...indulged.

Gilgamesh shook her head, her face as calm and serene as a still lake.

Haru, watching her, felt a strange sense of discomfort. He'd just taken advantage of her, and yet, her reaction—it was as if she'd been the one to use him.

"But—it was pleasant. Come here. Let's continue. My turn on top," she purred, beckoning him with a delicate hand, a seductive smile on her face.

"As you wish, my Queen," Haru replied, a grin spreading across his face.

In the dim light of the bedroom, their bodies intertwined.

——

Hours later, as the sun reached its zenith, Gilgamesh, pushing herself up, her face flushed, a golden ripple appearing behind her, Ea materializing in her hand.

"I'm full, for now. So…"

Haru, still beneath her, stared up at her, his eyes wide with alarm. "What are you doing?"

"Enkidu…" she murmured, and the Chains of Heaven materialized, binding Haru to the bed.

"We were just—what?!" Haru's face paled, his mind racing. One moment, she'd been demanding more, and the next—she was about to kill him.

"I wanted you then, so I took you. Now, I want to kill the man who stole my body. Any objections?" A cruel smile, a terrifying juxtaposition of gentleness and malice, twisted her lips.

Just then, the chains binding Haru trembled, a metallic clatter echoing through the room.

"Enkidu—very well I'll spare him…" Gilgamesh sighed, looking at the chains, her voice filled with a reluctant resignation.

Haru, sensing the familiar presence of the Counter Force within the chains, a faint echo of Enkidu's will, sighed in relief. Gaia had intervened.

"I'll think of a more suitable—punishment later," Gilgamesh said, smoothing her hair, her expression returning to its usual haughty indifference.

"I thought you said you'd spare me?" Haru asked, his voice laced with confusion.

"I never agreed to that. And after what you did—you expect me to just forgive you?…" Gilgamesh's eyes narrowed, her face darkening.

"It seems—I need to teach you proper manners, on Enkidu's behalf."

——

In the Tohsaka mansion's basement, Tokiomi stared at his right hand in disbelief, the three Command Spells fading away.

"What's going on, Kirei?! What happened?!" He'd just been taking a nap, and now—his connection to Gilgamesh was gone.

"Master, the True Magic user—he used his power to destroy the Lesser Grail. He's ended the Holy Grail War," Kirei's voice, calm and impassive, came through the communicator.

"What?! How—how is that even possible?! Do I have to wait another sixty years to reach the Root?! Will I even be alive then?!" Tokiomi clutched his hair, his voice filled with despair.

Then, Kirei spoke again. "Master, I have a way—to reach the Root."

——

At the Kanagawa Airport, Waver pushed Kayneth's wheelchair through the bustling terminal.
